    In August 2023, Better Business Bureau (BBB) questioned KW Fence's website, www.kwfencecompany.com, which stated:

      "KW Fence focuses on delivering the best products and services at the best prices."

      "Every member of the KW Fence team is highly trained and properly licenses and certified."

      "…to deliver 100% customer satisfaction"

    • "Best Products, Service & Prices"

    According to BBB Code of Advertising,“Superlative statements in advertisements about the tangible qualitiesand performance values of a product or service are objective claims forwhich the advertiser must possess substantiation as they can be basedupon accepted standards or tests. As statements of fact, such claims,like “#1 in new car sales in the city,” can be proved or disproved.”

    In addition, the BBB Code of Advertising states, “Despitean advertiser's best efforts to ascertain competitive prices, therapidity with which prices fluctuate and the difficulty of determiningprices of all sellers at all times preclude an absolute knowledge of thetruth of unqualified underselling/lowest price claims. Advertisers musthave proper substantiation for all claims prior to dissemination.”

    Thecompany did not respond to BBB's request and has not removed BBB'sseal.  It is in violation of the trademark rights of the InternationalAssociation of Better Business Bureaus, Inc.  In addition, the companydid not substantiate, modify or remove the claims in question.

    I contracted with KW Fence to have my backyard fenced in early May. At that time we paid $2600 (half) of the cost of the fence and were given an 8-10 week time frame to complete the job. It is now October 1 and we still have no fence. We have been given the run around as to when they will complete the job every time we have contacted them regarding their inaction.

    A Tragic Tale of Shoddy Craftsmanship and ********************* Where do I even begin with this so-called "fence company"? If I could give them zero stars, I would. My experience with them was nothing short of a disaster, and I feel obligated to warn anyone considering their services to run in the opposite direction and fast.First off, the communication was dishonest. It was like pulling teeth to get a response from them. I understand that businesses can get busy, but the lack of basic courtesy and professionalism was astounding. I felt like I was inconveniencing them by simply inquiring about the progress of fixing my fence installation.When they finally got around to the job, it was evident that their idea of craftsmanship was a far cry from the industry standard. I wouldn't trust this company to put up a lemonade stand, let alone a fence that's supposed to enhance the aesthetic appeal of my property.To make matters worse, the materials they used were of the lowest quality imaginable. I've seen sturdier structures made out of toothpicks. It's clear that they cut corners at every possible opportunity, sacrificing the integrity of the fence and leaving me with a gate that is a rickety eyesore that's bound to collapse at the slightest breeze and dangerously put together.And let's not even talk about the post-installation customer service. Once they had my money, they couldn't care less about addressing my concerns or fixing their mistakes. It's as if they took a crash course in terrible business practices. I still have all the lying text messages that my concerns and problems were never fixed.Save yourself the headache, frustration, and hard-earned money steer clear of this fence company. There are plenty of reputable businesses out there that value their customers and take pride in their work. This company is a stain on the industry, and I wouldn't wish their incompetence on my worst enemy.

    Let's start with the facts to avoid any confusion. You initially contacted one of our previous customers to inquire about the company that installed their fence. You were pleased with their fence and eventually contacted us to install one for you. We use some of the best materials in the industry, such as Master Halco postmaster posts and 1x4x8 cedar wood, which we used for your fence. Before the installation, we sent an installer to your property to assess the area. The installer warned you about the difficulties due to the grade of your yard, but you insisted on moving forward. Your two-day installation was completed on 11/12/22, and we took photos of the fence and gate for our records, which if we were able to post on here, wed happily do so. Since then, we've had five service calls from you, trying to fix the alleged problems you reported. Your cooperation is essential during the pre- and post-installation stages, but your poor communication and hostility have made it challenging for everyone involved. Our repair team will not return to your property due to the hostile conditions. We reached out to you again this past weekend 11/11/23 and you dismissed us. While we understand that there are many reputable businesses out there, we take pride in our work and our customers' satisfaction. We have served over ***************** the past two years and always strive to provide quality products and services. We acknowledge that nobody is perfect, and mistakes can happen. We will continue to reach out to you **************** to see if we can resolve any issues.
