I have a contract for monthly cleaning. In the contract there is a 30 day notice to be given by either party if the contract were to be terminated. On 26 May 2024, I was notified that due to scheduling, I needed to go to twice a month cleaning or June would be my last cleaning. I replied that I would keep the June cleaning as scheduled but did not want/need to go to twice a month cleaning. A week or so prior to my June cleaning (18 June), I tried to contact **** (via phone call, text message and emails) but with no reply. I made the assumption he was not planning on cleaning as scheduled, but still go up and left to be sure I was out of his way if he did the scheduled cleaning. It is now 24 June and I still have not heard anything from ****, violating the contract he put in place for his cleaning service. Since I assumed **** would honor his contract, I did not schedule the new cleaning service until July so I would like the $125 that I spent for me to clean in June for no communication and not honoring the existing contract.
