      On April 14, 2022, I arranged to have a sofa, chair and small footstool reupholstered.She wanted half the total amount up front, which included materials, labor, tax, and pick up/delivery.She told me (and it's written on my receipt) that she would start the work in Oct 2022.I had flooring replaced in my house, so when the contractors needed to move the furniture out in April 2023 (6 months AFTER she said she'd begin the project), I contacted her to let her know they were bringing the furniture to her. She said her truck was broken, so I paid for the delivery. I asked that she send fabric swatches back with my contractors. She gave them excuses that it would take too long to find it. So I don't know if she really ordered the upholstery fabric.She said she would begin work in Oct 2022. She has had my furniture since April 5, 2023.I texted her Aug 9, 2023 to tell her she had until Oct 1, 2023 to either finish the work or send a refund check. She hasn't returned calls or texts. I have heard nothing.On Aug 28, 2023 I left a voice mail and text when my mom was diagnosed with inoperable cancer. I pleaded with her to finish the work so I could have furniture for the holidays for my family. Still no answer.Her invoice/receipt numbers: ****** and ******

      I am working on Kendras furniture and it will be completed by the end of October. I have had issues that came up that were beyond my control. I do apologize but I have never gotten any texts or calls from her since I have gotten it. The matter is and has been taken care of.  Yes I was going to pick up her stuff but my truck is still down and I have taken the delivery charge off of her ticket cause I didnt pick it up. Her stuff again will be done by the end of October, and am sorry for delay .

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      If the work isn't complete at the end of October and there is nothing but excuses from her, I will be back.
