Monday May 2 2022 I brought my fire extinguisher's to Marmic for an inspection. The cashier told me I’d have to leave them to be inspected. I Waited 3 days for someone to contact me, no one did, so i called Marmic. I was told over the phone my total would be $44, when i arrived the total was $209. I was told one of my extinguisher’s needed to be filled, which they already did without notifying me first. I asked if there was a sticker saying it was out of date, i was told there was, but it was destroyed. After i Reluctantly paid the $209 the manager told me that my fire extinguisher should not have been filled because it was missing the manufacture date, he took my extinguisher and gave me another extinguisher.Business response

I had tried calling him multiple times and finally got a hold of him today. We tried to make this correct before he even left. I gave him the option to return and I will refund his money. He told me he is going to keep the item that he bought.Customer response

****** ********In no way was offered a refund when I was at the store. I was told after I paid for my extinguisher that it was not supposed to be charged (even though they charged it)because it was missing the manufacture date, which I wasn’t told when I called the company. I was contacted, but I was told I can get a refund on the extinguisher that was given to me by the company and I won’t get my extinguisher back.
