March 21, 2021 paid this business $219 for TWO maintenance services ( known as preventive maintenance PMA 1 System PPD ) - first of these TWO services ( air conditioner maintenance ) completed on 4/21/2021 Work Order #****** On or about 10/15/21 called this business to schedule SECOND of previously paid maintenance services and was told the first available service date was in middle of December ( two months in future ) - I am filing this complaint because of the following: office person who told me: " we sent you an email reminder for scheduling your furnace maintenance" - that statement TOTALLY FALSE - this is the SECOND TIME this business made this FALSE CLAIM about sending email reminders. With the uncertainty of how soon cold weather was going to arrive PLUS my caring for a family member who had extreme sensitivity to cold weather I couldn't wait TWO MONTHS for furnace maintenance and chose to contact another service provider I wrote letter to this business on or about 12/1/21 requesting refund of that portion of previously paid service which wasn't performed and have received NO REPLY from themBusiness response

We apologize that the customer does not have record of receiving emails from us. We did confirm with our emailing software that their email addresses were included in the email reminders. However, with technology we do understand things can often not go through, end in the junk mail or not end up processing as expected. My accounting team submitted a refund request to our payables team but it did not get processed. We have emailed the client apologizing for the oversight and informed them that we will have a check cut next week upon the return of our AP agent as she is off for holiday. We apologized for the error on the refund check as that was a clerical mistake on our part.
