We hired *********************** a franchisee of Pillar to Post to inspect a house we were interested in buying. After paying $697 for a full house inspection we received a report claiming the house needed only a new garbage disposal, a few gfci outlet updates and an anti tip plate on the oven. We purchased the house based on this report only to find after purchase that the siding had holes in it which cause damage to the interior of the home, the chimney cap had rusted to a point where it needed replacing, the dishwasher had rusted to the point it needed replacing, the kitchen sink leaked and cause damage to the cabinet below it, and the door bell electrical connection along with several outlets do not work. We have close to $15,000 dollars in repairs that were not reported in the initial report. We would not like anyone else to go through the same situation we did in buying our first home.
