I hired this company on July 19 to do a full replacement of our roof. I paid them a total of $3000. I paid by cashier's check. According to the work agreement the work was to be completed in three days. He didn't start until August 23rd. His worker only put down two pieces of wood. I called the owner (august 10) and he said the work would be completed by the next day. He didn't come and nor did his worker come. I called the owner again. I tried by phone and texting. Not successful. I called every day and I finally got installment payments, in three payments for a total of $1200. Less than half of what he paid me. (He did send another check for $300 but it was made out with an incorrect last name.) I filed with the attorney general of Missouri and once that happened, he texted me and told me he was not going to communicate with me any longer and he was not going to provide the rest of the refund that he owed me.Business response

We had time, labor, and materials involved in this project. We simply had a conflict in schedules, which happen in our industry. We stood ready to complete all work we were hired to do, the consumer cancelled the contract. We are sorry the consumer was not happy with the time it was taking to complete the job, as we strive to offer quality service to all our customers, acting in good faith we will honor a final refund minus our labor and material costs. I will send the consumer 2 installments of $500.00 within the next 60 days.Initial Complaint

This company installed my roof. I have water leaking in my home. The ceilings have water marks. I called the company and they came out and told me they would resolve the issue. They have not resolved it. I had another company come out and they told me it was a bad job. The company texted me on 8/30 and told me he was going to resolve it. I asked him what the plan was and he didn't know. He didn't respond. He told me my adjuster I wanted my roof this way and that's not true. I need another roof. My ceiling is getting destroyed.Business response

The client is making a false complaint and still owes the company a balance of $1000. We installed a roof and went above and beyond and submitted all paperwork to her insurance company. We have before and after photos of the house and photos of the ceiling showing no damage.Customer response
