We purchased a new mininsplit setup for our house and it's been trouble after trouble coming on our 3rd summer now. First summer there was a leak which they repaired at no cost. Second summer the coolant was low and they charged us. Ok whatever should be good to go now. NOPE!!!!! Welcome to the soon to start 3rd summer and we have had a few 80 degree days and the system is having a hard time. So again have to call someone to come out and hopefully get things done. And for the record yes the units have been cleaned and the outside unit as well.

Our home has been serviced and maintained by Patriot Heat and Air for several years; most recently we purchased a heat pump which was installed by knowledgeable technicians. ***** serviced the unit today and was careful to answer questions regarding how to properly use, monitor, and care for the system; he is an asset to the company which rightly prizes customer service an imperative. While considering a review, there has not been one technician or office staff who has not been friendly, patient, and service-minded.

I asked a local ************** for recommendations on getting our 30 year old HVAC system replaced and got quite a few. The diagnoses for ours was bad. The 30 year old unit's compressor had died and there was no way to revive or replace it. We had 4 companies who came to look at it and they all concluded that pretty fast. We chose Patriot Heat & Air in Hollister to do the work because they gave us a detailed rundown of what needed to be done and when they could do it and how long it would take them. I have to say I'm amazed with how good their team is. My wife worked out the details with ********* help at their office and scheduled a tentative installation date for this week. I was expecting this to be a 2-3 day job because what we had was a big and very old mess and it's a tight squeeze down in the basement where the inside parts of this are installed. ******* called and told my wife they'd be here on a Thursday morning and ***** ********************, and ***** got here that morning to do the installation. They replaced everything indoors and out and even modified the intake duct work to improve the air flow. They all got to work and were done in just a few hours. When they were done they took the old stuff away with them. I didn't have to do anything but pay attention when they went over how to use the controls and swap the filters. I've been around long enough to know journeymen quality work done right and those guys are topnotch pros. Patriot Heat & Air gave us the best deal we could possibly get, and really, a lot more than that. I can honestly say they've been a blessing.
