We have not received a paper regularly for about 2 months. We have received 8 papers in that time frame. Our subscription is for a paper from Tuesday through Saturday. We are paying $11.69 monthly, which is being taken directly out of our account. We have called daily starting on 7/12/22 @ ************, and have several messages with the subscription/circulation dept regarding the issue. We have never received a call back. On 7/29/22, my husband went to the office at *** * ***** ** ***** ** and was told that the lady he needs to talk to had just gone to lunch. He said he would give her a message to call him back. Again, no return call. We just want to change our subscription to digital only, which is less than half price of what we are currently paying. There is no way to change the subscription online. We are tired of paying for a service that we are not getting. Your help would be greatly appreciated.Business response

I pay for two subscriptions with the Examiner. One for us and one for my mother. When the Examiner went to mail delivery I was told that I would receive the paper on the same day it was printed except on Saturdays but there has constantly been problems with delivery. Some days we wouldn't receive the paper but then would get two or three days papers together. Currently my mother hasn't received a paper at all since 07/06/22 and I haven't received a paper since 07/15/22. I have left messages at the Examiner but the calls go unreturned and there is no email address to contact them on line. The mailbox for the customer service department is now full so you can't leave a message. I would like to receive credit for all of the missed papers and start receiving the papers timely.Business response

We have been experiencing delivery issues due to issues at the post office. We have contacted the customer and have issued a one month credit and are delivering all back papers today.

In regards to my active complaint #********. I mis-typed when I was responding to the business's response before I had entered my response. I'm not willing to accept their response because I pay for two subscriptions at two different addresses. They have delivered my back issues and I am currently receiving my papers for my subscription st **** ** ***** ***, but we have not received any papers for the subscription at **** * ***** *** since 07/06. I can't tell from their response if they have credited my account for both addresses or just for one, and as of today they still haven't delivered any papers for the ***** address.Business response

I am rejecting this response because we have not received a newspaper at the **** ** ***** *** address since this past Wednesday when they delivered all of the missed papers.

I have made several phone calls to the Examiner about papers that were being delivered after 5:00 pm and papers that were delivered at all. All I ever get is a voice mail system and phone calls are not returned. I just renewed my paper for a year on May 5, 2022 for $176.87. I want a refund less an amount subtracted for papers actually received since that date. This is unacceptable service.Initial Complaint

On 1/20/2022 I was called By the Examiner and advised the newspaper was being changed to mail delivery instead of home delivery. I could let them know if this was not what I wanted. I received the last newspaper on 1/20/2022 and have not received another. I want a partial refund of what i paid for. I have tried to reach them by phone without success. I paid $46.57 on October 22,2021.Business response
