I purchased a sofa and ottoman I was having a issue with getting bitten when I would lay in the bed or sit on the sofa. I called the business up and they came out and they investigated the fabric and they inform me that they could change the fabric. They changed the fabric on the mattress. So, I am still itching from sitting on the sofa. So, my husband notice that there were bugs on my sofa. I called the business and inform them of the situation and they state that I need to call pest control. I have never had any bugs in my home. So, yesterday I needed a box spring changed out from another mattress and I asked the movers to look at my sofa and they state that what they observed was bed bugs. So, I called the business and they say again that I need to call pest control. I say why should I pay for that? He says because I own the sofa and it is in my house. I inform him that I should not have to pay for something that I can not even sit on the sofa. I would like for them to come pick up the sofa and replace it. or refund my money back.Business response

In response to the complaint that was submitted on 07/21-23 by ******** *******:
Mrs ******* purchased a sofa & ottoman which was delivered on 10-21-2022.
On 04/15/23 Mrs ******* called the store & complained of itching that perhaps she was reacting to the covering on the mattress she had purchased. JC Mattress changed the topper of the mattress with a different material on 04-26-23.
During another service issue on 7-20-23 of a boxspring which had a broken board, at the request of Mrs ******* our delivery team observed that her sofa had bugs. We advised the customer to contact a pest control company at that time to have her home inspected.
Mrs ******* then called the store late July & JC Mattress informed her that this is not the responsibility of the store.Customer response

When we notice that there were some bugs that was on the couch I called and they said they would come to pick up but at the same time found out it was bugs from warehouse according to deliver person. When couch was deliver it wasn't even rapped up but they say it came from the warehouse because they said they couldn't sale me the one on floor. I'm not happy about the sofa at all they should have stood behind the couch just like the did with mattress. All I'm asking is if the would come pick up sofa and let me get all money back that used to purchase it.
