I scheduled an appointment for a home cleaning with Merry Maids. On the appointed date, they failed to show. I waited 30 minutes before cancelling the service. Forty five minutes after my appointment date, I was notified that the cleaners were at a different location and that I needed to come get them. I decline the offer, let them know I'd cancelled the service, and wished them well. Since then, I have received numerous calls from them and then I received a letter demanding payment for a service that was not provided.Business response

We had a customer that we were servicing for the first time. We showed up and they did not answer the door nor answer the call, happened again a 2nd time and we took off the fees. We charged the fee because the person was not home, but we went ahead and took off the fees.
