  We tried to hire them to open the pool. They kept changing when they could do it and at the last minute they told my husband it would b next year so we tried to hire someone else and the next day they called and said they were almost to our house. I told them not to get on the property til someone was there. I called my daughter and when she got there no one showed up so they came on the property without permission. Neighbors said they were there mayb 10 mins. My pool stayed green for 3 weeks until we went to another pool company and got our pool opened few days later. I called them every year for 5 years and asked them if we didn't open the pool would algae stain the liner and I was told no it wouldn't stain but my liner is stained now cuz they lied to me. Now they want us to pay for services not rendered. I have witnesses, pictures and videos all with dates. They also did not leave chemicals here for us like they said they did and trying to charge us for them

  We built this pool in 1997 for ***** and ***** **** and have all service record since. This pool has not been opened since 2015 and so of course it is going to have alot more algae that one that was only closed for one season. Pool openings are not pool cleanings. We go and get the pumps filters etc running and treated the water and from there the customer needs to keep backwashing to get the bad stuff that has built up over the years out. We did leave chemicals that were requested and it is not up to us to confirm the customer will be that once they make the appointment beings we do not do exact times we simply get the pool that the customer wants opened in our book and work our way to them, We were out on 7/14/22 and 7/15/22 to open the pool and repair the impeller. We have not received payment  for product and services so we sent this account to collection recently and now we are getting a complaint for something that we did complete. If the customer wanted a deep cleaning we would have gladly done that for 119.00 per hour however like I said previously we strictly open the pool and from there the customer is to do a frequent backwash and brush the floor and sidewalls until the water clears up. In most cases pools will not be this green however this pool was closed from 2015-2022 and we did our part to get the pool going for the summer.

  I am rejecting this response because: I went to another pool company and got what I needed to open my pool after 3 weeks of waiting for my pooI to clear up and I didn't have to do anything that they are saying like scrub the pool. I dumped chemicals in that was giving to me by blue world pools and in 24 hrs my pool was clear not green water like it was for 3 weeks with Doug's. I vacuumed it and it was ready to swim in a few short days. They have no right coming on private property when owners have requested them not to several times. They are also liars about leaving chemicals with us. My neighbors are witnesses to them doing nothing to our pool.  My aunt quit using them too cuz they were screwing her over and she went with another pool company too. We use a pool company now in Neosho and they do an awesome job For almost half the money and do a thorough job of opening it and are here for at least an hour or more. Doug's pool and spa should b ashamed of themselves on how they treat their customers. My in laws would b disgusted with them after what they have done to us if they were still alive
