I went into store to order a pair of shoes three weeks ago. They fitted me into a 7 1/2 but I wear an 8 1/2. The shoes didn't fit. They gave me another pair and they don't fit. They are refusing to refund my money for the shoes. I have paid them $300 total for the shoes.Business response

****** ******** came into our store, we scanned her feet, which gives her size and footbed recommendation. After trying on several pair, ****** chose an Irish Setter Shoe for $149.99 and a footbed for $49.99. At the time of the sale she was made aware of our return policy on the Irish Setters, if worn they cannot be refunded or exchanged, we made sure they fit her well before she left. The insole had a 30 day comfort guarantee; return within 30 days full refund.
The first week of November
****** came into the store Yelling at me her feet hurt. At this time I did offer her a full refund, even though this is not our policy because she was screaming, ****** didn’t want a refund, she wanted to exchange, so we measured her feet again and tried on several pair that fit like the boot to order. We ordered the boots to exchange for the shoes.

****** came in to exchange her shoes for the boots. Tried boots on, they fit great. In order to exchange the shoes for the boots, we need to keep to get credit back from manufacture. When our employees asked for the worn shoes for exchange, she screamed at them saying she didn’t “I don’t have to bring them in.” When all she had to do was pay the difference of $90; and take the new boots and that she did!

****** was called to either return the first pair -she owed $149.99 for (what would be considered theft) unless we got them back.

****** brings in old worn shoes, that she initially should have. Then, she wanted to exchange the new boots now worn.
Now, she wants to exchange those boots and those are also now worn. ****** was told no and to leave, so she sat out in the parking lot for an hour writing to the BBB and yelling at our new customers out her car window “Don’t go in there, they steal!” Not true, we do not steal from customers; We will not be issuing a refund.
