Bill for my visit on September 12, 2023 Entire amount is being charged to me inspite of Carbon Health being covered by my insurance. It seems that Carbon has not submitted the bill to my Insurance. Visited Carbon because I suspected Covid infection and was tested positive. Called the Carbon Health phone numbers , put on hold with no response. Tried contacting them via email and the link offering the contact detail on their website throws up an error. Have sent an email to a Carbon Health email , hoping for a response. All I need is that Carbon Health contact my insurance for payment or let me know if there are problems that I can speak to my Insurance.Initial Complaint

On January 13th, 2022, I visited Carbon Health on **** ******* solely for a COVID test as I had the suspicion I may have been exposed. I was told over the phone that my COVID test was covered, and that the visit would have no charge other than the COVID test. However, several months later, I received a bill stating that I owed over $500 for the visit, stating that it was a "new patient visit". I requested that they review the billing codes, and they did, and insurance was able to cover the COVID test. However, I am still stuck with a $210 bill for a new patient visit, even though I received no medical care, no new patient review, and only recieved a COVID-19 Antigen Test. They claim that I came in for a COVID-19 Sick Visit, however, that is not what I had asked for, and not what I received. I am requesting that the remaining portion of my bill be written off, and the charges dropped. I will pursue further legal action if necessary. Attached is the most up to date statement I have received, over a year later.
