    I agreed to the price of 79,86.83 - we were supposed to be out of our home for three days. Unfortunately, the process took eight days because they were short-staffed and did not have the right equipment for the job due to a fire (this was divulged after the work had started). After completion, water damage was done to the door jams, and now three of my doors will not shut - these were new doors. In addition, some of the doors were chipped, and a $2,500.00 French door was damaged from the equipment being moved in and out the door and the workers not opening both doors to avoid hitting the door. In addition, the walls were taped with plastic, and the moisture from the process caused the plastic to leave a significant imprint on the walls in the central part of the building. Finally, there is a white line at the edge of the trim on the floor around the floor. When given a cost analysis of the repairs, the company tried to minimize the damage and said that I could fix it and they would give me a discount after they up the original invoice from $7986.83 to $8874.25. Stating that the originally given was for a Memorial weekend discount is not true, and I have the invoice for 7986.83 dated July 8, 2022. I called my insurance company because the damage is significant, and I (personally) should not have to fix the damage caused by this company. I requested their certificate of Insurance, but they have refused to supply that to me. I have paid $3,000.00 of the bill but will not pay anything else until the damage is repaired. The owner, ***, said he does not have anyone to do the repairs but said that I have the skills to fix it and he would discount the cost by around 1500 dollars. I have been displaced from my home since July 8, 2022, and cannot move back until the insurance agent estimates the damages. Is there anything you can do to help with this situation? Also, the doors were put back dirty and a couple damaged. It is hard to see the damage in the photos.
