I recently hired Rodriguez Painting for a project, and I couldn't be happier with the results. We originally used Rodriguez Painting in 2015 to completely change the color of our house and trim. We received a free and reasonable estimate and was very satisfied with the work. We called and requested another free estimate for this project. They started the project early and completed the work in two days!! Several days after the walk-around we noticed some paint splatters on the top of a high window frame that was not visible from the ground. We called the company about the issue and they responded quickly to rectify the problem. The house looks great!!

After using Rodriguez Painting for the interior of our home, we were left with damaged hardwood floors and carpet, missed painting spots, dead grass, a missing ladder, a broken blind, and nonresponsive customer service. If I can figure out how to load the pictures I will. The crew and customer service rep denied leaving a 12" x 8" spot on our hardwood floors because according to the crew "everything was covered" and to the customer service rep "we just wouldn't do that, we don't use harsh chemicals." However, if everything was "covered" why did they have to send someone out to clean the paint spatters on my hardwood floors and carpet. AND, where they stood waiting to leave they placed their buckets on my grass and the grass died within two days exactly where the buckets sat for less than 30 minutes. To be fair, after a weekend (it was Memorial Day weekend) of constant pictures sent to Rodriquez they sent someone out to make corrections. He could remove the dozen plus paint spots on my hardwood floors, but not the 12" stain on the hardwood or a 4" spot on my living room carpet. They also painted around my Air Wick air freshener in the bathroom, rehung my wood blinds now one will not close, left paint all over my water hose/nozzle, and took our 6 ft. aluminum ladder. To be fair, they bought back a ladder, but not sure it was ours since ours did not have a bent 1st step nor bent tray to hold paint. Could not put a stop payment on my check even though I didn't give them the check until late Friday; by Tuesday morning (after the 3-day weekend) the check had cleared. My husband and I are both senior citizens on fixed incomes. If you use them for interior painting be sure to check your floors, your ceilings, your doors...everything they did not paint for paint droppings. When asked what they were going to do to rectify the remaining items, I got no response. If this helps someone in making a decision to use or not use them, it has met its purpose.

We apologize for any inconvenience on our end. We always ask that you do a thorough walk through before providing any payment to assure you were satisfied with your project. In regards to the minor inconveniences we do apologize and when they were brought up did respond to you to try to rectify any issue. In regards to your floors, the crew was dispatched to return and clean up and area where paint drops may have feel but as stated, one of the stains you brought up was not paint. It looks like something was spilled there and had been like that for a matter of time. Our crew did not bring any chemicals onto the property which would have caused this stain to appear and did cover the floors. The only thing that was used and brought to your property was paint. They were sent out to clean these areas up for you.

Just another example of Rodriguez Painting not taking accountability for their mistakes. I have a $400K home; why would I damage it. If there is such a thing as liar, liar pants on fire whoever responded to this would be guilty.  There were NO stains on my floors. Rodriguez Painting had 6-7 different people tramping through my home and someone spilled something. They used chemicals to take the paint off my ceiling fan and damaged that as well. You can not possibly catch every mistake they make in a quick walk thru.  Never thought I would have to sit on my toilet to notice no paint under the window seal, nor change the air freshener to realize they painted around it instead of unplugging it to paint the wall (which also is an indicator they did not remove any switch plates to paint the walls) nor am I 6 feet tall to see the problems right above my shelf in the laundry room. Obvious mistakes were identified while they were here including contacting customer service while they were here to talk about the stain. Rodriguez Painting has no quality control intact to ensure they have met the contract requirements; they leave it up to the customer and hope you don't catch something.  I noticed they also did not mention the broken blind, the ruined water hose, the stolen ladder, the tools they had to borrow while on the job, nor the dead grass where their paint buckets sat. My grass is all streaked with dead grass where they sprayed to clean off their equipment.  If this is how they take responsibility for a slip shod job, I would encourage no one to use them.  I have pictures.  Guess I will have to post them on Google and other social media so that others can judge for themselves. ? We are not surprised by this review. Unfortunately this client is only complicating the matter as we've have been ready to help. Client would like to have a warranty claim processed and per our warranty policy, to open up a claim we ask that you email our customer support email, provide a description and pictures of the area of concern. The reason we ask this is because there are times where issues are brought forth that do not pertain to our work or warranty. Once we receive that email we would gladly set up a time and date to send out the crew to take care of anything that is covered under our warranty. This client is refusing to send that email. We are not sure why. This is an unfortunate review as we have not done anything other than ask what is stated on our warranty policy and contracts which the client agreed to. We are still in the position to help as long as the warranty claim is submitted properly.

I found their company by doing a Google search and was impressed with the website and their “special” for a small single-story house like mine. I never got to see the quality of their work due to some unethical advertising. They clearly advertise an “Exterior Painting Special” for a small single-story house is $1,190 - $1,390. Please check it out at: https://www.rodriguezpaintingks.com/ After receiving their estimate for an exterior house painting for $2,290 plus another $650 for some minor trim repairs on two windows and one door frame, I called them and asked what happened to the painting "special". I mentioned that their website clearly advertised "special" prices between $1,190 and $1,390 for a small house like mine. The website also clearly shows that this includes pressure washing, scrape and prime where needed and caulking and painting. The girl in their office said that the prices on the webpage were “starting prices”. I asked if they had ever painted a house for the price they advertise. The answer is no. I said that their website was misleading at best. A manager got on the phone and talked in more circles - again stating that the website showed their "starting" prices and that it depends on the prep work involved. I told him the house was in very good shape and that I was happy to pay the additional $650 for the necessary carpentry repairs. Since they include pressure washing, scrape and prime where needed and caulking and painting, I asked what additional prep work (other than the $650 for trim repairs) cost $1,000 more than their advertised pricing. No answer given. I told him I was happy to pay the high end of their advertised price ($1,390) for the painting part of their estimate. He had no valid response and repeated the same nonsensical lines. If there’s one thing I can’t stand, it’s a bs-er. At that point, I said that their website was deceptive, and they were using false advertising.

Good morning, first and foremost we do apologize for any inconvenience on our end. We provided Mr. M***** with a free estimate, under no obligation. Our website clearly states "Precision Work-Affordable Plans Starting At" before our Starting Prices. Additionally Mr. M***** had $650 worth of repairs found that were factored into the quote. When we contacted Mr. M***** after we provided him the free quote we also offered an additional 10% discount. We provide starting pricing because not every home is the same and every home requires different amount of work. Mr. M*****'s neighbor could have the exact same home squarefootage-wise and layout wise, but may require 2-3x the amount of prep work due to the condition, these houses would obviously require different amount of work therefore could not be priced the exact same. We provide a free estimate and start at our starting prices but things can vary and change depending on the specific work required for the home or the condition the home is in. We simply provided a Free estimate to Mr. M***** and offered additional discounts.
