      I paid for the dumpster then received a bill for over $1000.00. Hidden fees were assessed with no recourse. Found many others who were also affected.

      The complainant overfilled their dumpster with several thousand pounds, resulting in thousands of dollars of expense to our company. We offered, in good faith, to settle this amount for $400 and the complainant agreed to pay and then filed this dispute. The complainant's assertions are unfounded and are a clear attempt to circumvent an outstanding balance due.

      My wife and I ordered a dumpster through Liberty Dumpster. We ordered the dumpster to be dropped off on June 12th and to be picked up on June 17th. They did not come and pick up the dumpster until June 21st even though the requested day was the 17th. They proceeded to charge us for the additional 4 days. The contract states they will make every effort to pick up on the requested date, but delivery and pick up day/time can be affected by weather, traffic, mechanical issues, or other unforeseen issues. It also states every effort will be made to accommodate our delivery date/time. It is highly unlikely that any issue that could have occurred could not have been resolved in the four extra days that they billed us for. It appears that no effort was made to truly accommodate our pick up date due to a lack of communication with us that an issue occurred causing them to be late. We were also charged a Fuel Recovery Fee on the first invoice we received and then charged another fuel recovery fee on the second invoice we received. Nowhere in the contract does it say we are required to pay a fuel recovery fee. Nor does it say we should be charged twice for Fuel Recovery. After my wife paid the remainder of the invoice, they then proceeded to send us another invoice stating we had an outstanding balance of $71.87. I am unsure where the extra $71.87 came from, especially after we paid the invoice in full. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with this business and their shady practices. We rented a dumpster from Liberty Dumpster, but when the dumpster arrived, it belonged to "My Dumpster Guy". That should have been a red flag that we were going to get ripped off, but it was already too late by that point. I have a hard time believing a "company" can get away with taking advantage of people as much as Liberty Dumpster does. I will NEVER be using them again and I would highly caution anyone else thinking about using them.

      Upon review of the Rental Agreement, the complainant executed with our company, all charges were conveyed on the telephone and (in writing) on the contract and invoice (including Fuel and Environmental fees). As a gesture of good will to satisfy this complainant, we are willing to refund $200 to cover the Fuel & Environmental fees that the customer overlooked on the Rental Agreement.

      Ordered dumpster for drop off between 6am and 10am. On 5/22/24. It did not come until almost 3 pm They never could get anyone on the phone to find out why kept brushing me off. I paid 225. They said .09 cents a lbs so that it would probably be about 90 to 120 more after picking up the dumpster. Today they tried to charge me 362 dollars. Made up charges. Can't prove to me weight of trash. I know for a fact I didn't have that much trash. Tried to tags other fees. Well I asked people about it and found out I couldn't even sign the contract. Im 17 years old. I didn't realize I couldn't.

      The contract the complainant executed with our company states, "Delivery time is not guaranteed" and we make no verbal or written commitments to a specific delivery time. With regards to the additional fee, the complainant, consistent with their own admission, agreed to pay ¢9 per pound. As the attached Certified Weight Ticket shows, the complainant discarded 2,420 pounds of debris; therefore, the additional charge of $217.80, plus tax is accurate and appropriate.

      I requested information online through their website. They sent me a contract to sign. I never signed the contract. As I was reading the contract I saw that they did NOT include any weight and every pound would be $.15 per pound. So it was essentially a bait and switch written into the fine print. I received no less than 3 phone calls on the first day as well as several emails and text messages asking me to sign the contract. On the 2nd phone call I told them I was not going to do business with them because of their harassing nature (hadn't even had time yet to know if it was a good deal or not). They called AGAIN and I told them to never call me again and I was NOT signing their contract and NOT using their service because of the harassment. I just checked my credit card and they already charged me without signing the contract.

      My husband and myself used this company paid them 400 but they told us it would be 300 we used the dumpster they came and picked it up only to change us 600 more dollars a week later going into the savings and checking then telling us it was for something us we were told that if we put electrics in we would be charged again when I called *** was rude told me they didn’t have a crop office and refused to let me speak to a manager then started texting all this stuff to my phone when I asked her to stop she rudely said well I telling you what the charge is for it was very odd she wouldn’t give me another agent wouldn’t help me wouldn’t let me speak to an manager gave me wrong information on purpose then told me she would hang up on me because I kept asking to speak with a manager this woman was terrible at her job

      The complainant put hazardous, prohibited electronics in the dumpster, resulting in a "Sorting Fee" and labor costs. In addition, we informed the complainant, when the dumpster was ordered that weight would be an additional .15¢ per pound. Finally, the complainant was verbally abusing our customer service team, therefore, we refused to escalate their call to a Managing Supervisor. A refund to this complainant is unwarranted and unmerited.

      I rented a dumpster from this company. They have a shady practice that deceives you to thinking their prices are cheap. Once you sign, they charge you for the weight in addition. They also do not clearly list items that is not allowed. I paid for the dumpster upfront. Then received a call saying i owed another 640 or so dollars due to my weight. When i review my contract, it states only that their will be an additional charge. Nothing does it state at what rate i will be charged nor does it list items not allowed. This is a very shady business practice and this is how they get you making you think you got a good deal.

      March 1, 2024. Yes, I signed a contract. The PDF went so fast I couldn't read it, before it signed it. No where on the website does it say 15 cents a pound for every thing on top of the $315. I talked to him on the phone. His phone kept cutting out. His address comes up *** downtown. I keep getting spam calls from him. I have 1 phone number saved for him, but are getting text with different peoples names from the same number. so he wants another $575 for this dumpster that is way overpriced for the area. The whole thing looks like a scam.

      Our price conveyed verbally and in writing is $195 and .15 cents per pound, which is shown, in 9-point font, on the invoice, on two (2) occasions. Therefore, the assertion that it is "hidden in the contract" is a falsehood. The complainant is liable for the weight in the dumpster and approved the additional weight in the dumpster.

      7/12/23 I booked to use a commercial dumpster from this company. They misrepresented the charges for their services stating a flat fee of $195. The salesperson verbally did not disclose additional fees or that secondary charges would be made on my account. I was pressured to sign the contract virtually and quickly in order to book my services and ensure use of the dumpster reserved for me. 10 days later I was charged an additional $649.30 that I did not agree to. I am currently disputing the charges with my bank. However, this company is misrepresenting the fees associated with their services and are stealing from their customers by charging outrageous fees that are far exceeding the market charges of other similar services.
