      The citizens of Kansas City are the last go have their power restored. This should be illegal. When everygy has the capability to place a all hands on deck to have peoples energy restored in a timely fashion they do not. Before it was evergy this was not the case. Individual repairers where dispatch from all over to help. This does not appear to be the case. In viewing the evergy website Kansas City is listed last, why?

      Evergy had to be the most unworthy company I’ve ever dealt with. After being without power for 12 plus hours in the heat, food spoiling, I decided to call for an update, the update- We’re unsure when your power will be restored as we work the areas with bigger outages first. We haven’t assigned a crew for your location. But yet it was 6 trucks 2 miles away at McDonald’s 9am this morning. I pay my bill every month like every one else. It’s not line up arrangement if I skip a bill! They’re atrocious. I hate everything about Evergy.

      Keep sending a strong arm to collect payment like some kind of mafia. Never polite about it either. Refuses to turn electric back on in a timely manner. Has no problem allowing disabled young adults in the dark. All this even after I paid their bill.

      Every doesn't want to accept my payment coupon with remittance letter. I sent them certified receipt payment three times, and they sent second one back and third one returned all certified, the law has its codes and I stick strictly by the law they won't give me access to the CEO David Campbell I know where his headquarter office is but they won't give me the sweet to send the letter to him to let him deal with this type of payment the customer service has been very rude and the supervisor will not let me talk to anyone above them I have no other choice but to file with the IRS about the scams their doing to us consumers aka beneficiaries

      Rep showed up to disc my service tried saying my bill was 4 months past due with no payment which was untrue called customer service to verify and the rep disc my service and refused my payment mad cause i didn’t give him the money.. I was told I shouldn’t of called customer service I have 6 kids one being an infant he wasn’t even off my block before it was taking care of and i was told that I will half to wait Intel tomorrow for my power to be turned on.. that’s absurd these are the kind of people that is coming to our homes.. this the the electric company were forced to deal with.

      Evergy is the worst energy company out there and since there is no competition they do not care if they cost you more money because of their mistakes and short comings. If I had a choice to cancel my energy services I would but they have a monopoly in the area so their is nothing I can do. This company only has one star reviews but yet they are still in business. Time for KS to get another energy service. One that actually cares.

      Rude customer service people that try to talk you in circles instead of giving real answers to issues I have. My bill rises even though my usage stays the same. Also customer service informed me that evergy only recognizes 2 seasons winter and summer, claims winter rates are lower and winter starts Oct. 1st. Oct. 1st? Usage hasn't changed much because Oct and Nov weren't cold. Also claimed my meter malfunctioning wasn't even plausible. In all circumstances the problem is you not them.

      My house has lost power 7 times in the last 5 months. 4 of these instances were DAYS after bringing home my newborn baby when it was 104 degrees outside. I am sick and tired of hearing all of the excuses that the customer service reps spit out… “post COVID we haven’t been able to hire enough workers…”, “I have filed a complaint to our design team and they should reach out to you to discuss your problem…” (never happened). We spend HUNDREDS of dollars every month on our energy bill and we have NEVER had a late payment. We have lived in this house for a year and a half and the ONLY reason I have considered moving is because of the lack of trust in our electricity. My husband and I were approached by evergy months after we moved in asking to have rights to an easement on our property that spans all across our side yard and the entire length of our backyard. We were told that as part of this easement they would be burying our power lines (which would have prevented all of the power outages that we experienced in the last 4 months) but they continue to tell us that they don’t know when the project will start, or they will give us a date and then that day will come and go with no action. This company is a money hungry monopoly that really needs to step up and provider better quality service.

      I called because I was unable to keep my payment arrangement due to medical reasons. I ask the agent if broken would they allow reset and he stated yes call back after next bill comes out. I was then told upon calling back that I would not be able to reset until I paid the full past due which was not explained to me. I ask for a supervisor who I asked if she could listen to the call. Even if she couldn’t do anything about my bill she would possibly beable to coach the agent so no one else would have this experience. She got back on the phone and told me I was trying to coach the agent to say what I wanted whenever I was only getting clarification on if I would be able to reset. Seeing how electric is very important one to be able to work since I work from home and two having a medical condition. I was completely offended and shocked that her being a supervisor would disrespect my character in that way. Evergy needs to retrain their supervisor. Just because someone is having hard time in life you dont have to make them feel like crap and disrespect them. Im truly disgusted and disappointed by this supervisor actions

      Money hungry company who will soon be part owners of Spire. Poorly trained customer service representatives who all will tell you different information. I have had my identity stolen in the past so I put a security block on my account years prior. I now want it removed due to the trouble it causes me when wanting to start service. I have to comply with all this personal information and documents just to have to wait an additional 3-5 days for a response and the reps will not remove it. I am now without power in my new apartment and Evergy could careless despite providing all of the information days prior.
