On 11/17/2023 ***** ****** the rep came to my house and started a good presentation on how the window installation was going to be performed and explained the benefits of the options. I gave ***** ****** access to my banking so Sunshine Home Improvement LLC would deduct the 1,800.00 to get started with the measurements and installation. It took almost a week before the company withdrew the money from my bank but I had to call ***** and update him on what his company wasn’t doing. There was no electronic device ***** had available for the transaction to be completed on the same day. A young man called me about 11/20/2023 around 1:11pm to confirm the date of the measuring of the windows and he said “your number is the ****”? “I said you have to call out the entire number if you want me to verify that you have the correct number “ He replied “ Calm Down!”He sounded like he was agitated and rushed, I said “I am calm but you have to give me the whole number if you want me to verify that the phone number is correct “ He then hung up. I called back and asked for the manager and a lady said he works in the field, I said ok can you have him to call me back. A gentleman called me back the next day and I explained what happened and he said okay, so you want to cancel? I said yes. Today is December 7th, 2023 Sunshine Home Improvement LLC still has my money. This company should not be proud of this service rendered, it is probably the worst customer service I have experienced.Customer response

As Mr. ****** stated our Sales representative, ***** ****** went to his home and presented our product samples and sold Mr. ****** replacement windows for his home. At the signing of a contract for the purchase of new custom made windows, a 50% deposit is due. Mr. ****** chose to pay via credit card and gave that information to ***** ******. Our sales reps do not have access to a credit card machine in the field, so the credit card could not be ran the deposit until the paperwork was turned into the office for invoicing and scheduling a re-check on the window measurements for ordering. The credit card was ran for the 50% deposit and a measure date was set up with Mr. ******.
Mr. ****** called a few days later for an update on his window order and was very polite on the phone with one of our office personnel until he asked if we had his contact information. Our office personnel replied that yes we do and recited back the last four digits of his phone number for confirmation. Mr. ****** then, just lost his temper and began to scream at our employee! (Our phone calls are recorded) "You need to read the whole (MF) number for me to verify the (MF) number!" He was so loud and profane that our employee simply said "you need to calm down". That may not have been the best thing to say to a angry customer, but our employee did not know what had set him off and felt they could come to a better agreement if they both were calm. However Mr. ****** proceeded to curse profusely at our employee so he tried to defuse the incident by ending the phone call. Our employees are not obligated to listen to verbal abuse by anyone, not even a customer!
Our office manager called Mr. ****** back and asked if he wished to proceed with his window order and he chose to cancel. His contract was cancelled and a refund was credited back to his credit card. I am assuming that he filed this complaint before his credit showed up on his statement. Unfortunately most credits take 7-14 days to show up. We have no quarrel with Mr. ******, but if he would like to have better customer service, maybe he should consider being a more genial customer.
He went from calm to red hot in a split second, and we still don't know why!
