On 8/10/23, I got bids for a move. When I spoke to **** *********, shared I was getting other bids he came in cheaper and said it was a waste of money for 3 movers like competition quoted. I liked his honesty. I did a lot of prework so there was the least amount of work the 2 movers would have to move thus keeping me within the quote or cheaper. Then comes a delay with our move and Kingdom charged me an extra $400 for the change date. I was fine with it as the landlord is reimbursing me. But, come moving day, 9/15/23, 2 movers, **** and ****** showed up...then a third one for about 30-45 minutes ******, which I was unaware of and ****** said we would NOT be charged for the 3rd guy . ****** did not come to the new house, he only spent 30-45 minutes at the old house moving a couple of things. Then I got the final bill on 9/19/23 and after many phone calls with a panicked John due to him being stiffed by another client he was frantically trying to collect money. I went back and forth for about an hour telling him only 2 guys moved me and a 3rd was only present for 30-45 minutes. Finally, at the end of the move at the new house, another gentleman, **** *** ***** as he is known (another one not the physical mover) came by to try to collect money as Kingdom Movers outsourced this move I found out. **** *** ***** said the job was for 5 hours and verbally told me at least 5 times it was a 5 hour move with the 2 movers. I get the final bill and there were 2 issues. The TV boxes were $60 . I told John that the guys wrapped the TV's in blankets NOT boxes and I wasn't paying for boxes. We went round and round and he took that off the bill. Then he sent me a text after talking to the outsourced moving company and wanted to bill me for 3 men for 2.5 hrs and 2 men for 3 hours. He said the 3rd guy was 30 min late & in truck whole time and why I didn't see him but only briefly. I feel this is shady and wrong and want him to write off the $212.50 he says I now owe.
