5/27 I received services from the dudes moving company. I did not receive the services that I was promised and quoted to me. I was told 4 crew members would be assisting me with moving and only three arrived therefore the job took longer. I was told furniture would be professional wrapped/protected to prevent damage and the crew members did not have enough wrapping paper. They stated “we were not aware of inventory”. In the meantime door frame was damage while moving couch out. Dining table was scratched. And cabinet on chest was chipped. I was told by ***** that he would send someone out to fix these damages the next day and that did not happen! I feel I was overcharged due to very poor services. Next day I also noticed my flooring was damaged and missing a piece. I am very upset and disappointed.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: I was not discounted heavily and I have a copy of what I was quoted versus what I paid. The only offer I received for repair was to take my furniture (dining table) away for an unknown specified amount of time which I was not comfortable with. I was told someone would also come fix door frame and never happened as well. These damages would have been avoided if furniture was wrapped and protected as promised when booked. Will proceed with small claims court!

We paid down a twenty percent deposit and scheduled two movers to arrive at our apartment at 9am on Saturday, Jan 6. At 9:15am I began reaching out to this company. I heard from **** with Big Dudes at 9:45am, 45mins after our scheduled appointment. **** explained that they couldn’t locate the key to the truck and were delayed. When asked how delayed, he shared they would arrive no later than 10:30am. 5 calls later with no answer, no response to emails or text, 10:30am has come and gone. Only after we posted on social media calling the company out did **** contact us again with an update around 10:50am stating they were still looking for the keys however the owners would knock down $150. We are past the point of this being about money and that is what this amateur, unprofessional, and extremely disorganized business failed to realize. At 11:35am I received a call from one of the Co-Owners, ******, stating he finally secured the keys and the movers would be arriving at 30mins, calling it an “operational nightmare” for us both. At that point I canceled the move, as family and friends rented a last minute ****** and began to move our apartment. As my family and friends are moving our belongings, at 12:35pm, movers from Big Dudes arrive, MORE THAN 3.5 hours late! ****** arrived and apologized but at that point there was zero reconciling. When asked if there was anything they could do, ****** and ******* would unload the truck at our new resident, and it would be no charge. In my opinion, this is the LEAST they could have done. To the owners, ***** and ******, you both should be ashamed of your overall product as a business, the lack of professionalism, the lack of communication, and ******* lack of empathy towards this entire set of circumstances. If you aren’t going to take the most crucial moments of people’s lives seriously, get out of the way, and let those who can deliver do so. This experience brought us tears and unnecessary stress.Business response

The night before, A driver of ours mistakenly took the key to the truck assigned to ********* move the next morning, it delayed our arrival time tremendously the morning o* ********* move which was a monumental disappointment to us both which is why we empathize with the dissatisfaction being displayed. To resolve this we issued a full refund of the deposit the same day as well as send out a crew free of charge prior to them having to go to their next move on that day, I have attached a photo of the proof of refund.Initial Complaint

They did not finish our move. We have a date and time that they assured us that it would be complete. There was one load left at midnight on 11/29. We paid and they assured us that they would pick up the last load the next day. They never showed up, then refused verbally. They stopped answering our calls.Business response

This was resolved the same night. The customer agreed to remove the google review upon completion, the owners of the company went themselves to complete what was desired by customer. It was a simple misunderstanding between our crew and customer. You can check the absence of the review here as well.
