      I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Cable Dahmer Chevrolet, and I must say, it was nothing short of a nightmare. Their staff's shady practices are a prime example of why people despise going to dealerships in the first place. If you happen to stumble upon an acceptable price for one of their vehicles online, don't get your hopes up. Cable Dahmer Chevrolet will notoriously for add an exorbitant $10,000 worth of hidden fees to the advertised price. It's a classic bait-and-switch tactic. They lure you in with an attractive price, only to slap you with unexpected charges once you're already invested. But that's not the worst part. During my visit, I discovered that Cable Dahmer Chevrolet has a disturbing habit of holding your keys hostage when you're attempting to trade in your vehicle. I had to ask for my keys back at least three times before they would give them back to me. This devious tactic is employed to prevent you from leaving the dealership without making a deal. It's a blatant disregard for customer autonomy and a desperate attempt to coerce you into accepting their unfair terms. The entire experience left me feeling frustrated and manipulated. It's disconcerting to witness a dealership engaging in such unethical practices especially when everyone is already struggling with today’s economy, preying on unsuspecting customers who simply want to buy a car. I strongly advise anyone to reconsider doing business with Cable Dahmer Chevrolet. Their staff's shady practices and hidden fees are a disgrace to the automotive industry. Don't be fooled by their enticing online prices, as they will undoubtedly add a significant amount to the final cost. And be prepared to fight for your freedom to leave, as they will go to great lengths to keep you trapped within their clutches. Cable Dahmer Chevrolet is a prime example of everything that is wrong with the car-buying experience.

      First original price was ***** of what they charged me. They maid that up but then sent the loan to to loan company and with my down payment I made and the ***** They paid I'm still getting charged ****** to much

      I have called 4 times in last 2 weeks and finally got ahold of someone today. I will be getting a lawyer if not solved soon

      The buy experience was just ok, we got over it and even referred our sister to use the dealership and she brought a brand new blazer. The nightmare began when the we owe you came into place it was the biggest issue. The first week we dropped it off on Monday when we went in we let them know that we hadnt had the car 2 weeks and the trunk wouldnt open. We had to pay $800.00 to get that fixed and then we were told the paint job would take about a week and they would be in touch picked the car paint wasnt done brought it back the communication and customer service was terrible the loaner car wasnt comparable to what we own I wasnt able to do normal day to day with my family I was disregard and this week 2 and we are still waiting for our car back. Called to get things resolved with head quarters they continued to keep me on hold. Had to cancel summer trip because not knowing when we would have our car back never would recommend using them again

      Tried to sell us a Black 2019 ******* from ON, with snow tires (cant be driven here). Luckily we caught it and backed out. Otherwise, would be out a pair of tires.

      Cable-Dahmer sold me a truck. The deal was fair. I rejected the extended warranty. I receive a phone call every week offering me an extended warranty. Six months into this weekly phone call, I asked the salesman at Cable-Dahmer to stop the phone calls. 2 years into this weekly phone call, I have decided to post a review here.The place provides good service, but the tactics are high pressure. My water pump was changed during a routine service call, then 6 months later they changed it again. On the second change, they realized the mistake. They offered me service discounts after the fact to get the price to reasonable, but the new water pump was on the vehicle.Just know what you are walking into when you meet with these people. They are there to pressure you into spending money. They do it with a smile and with their interests in mind, not the customers interest.

      If I could give this 0 stars I would. When buying my car I thought it was going well. ***** was wonderful at first. He was very responsive and offered solutions to what I didnt like about the car. They said they were going to fix some things and then add leather seats and have it delivered. The finance guy was not nice. He was upset that we didnt want anything added on to the car and he messed up the paperwork to where I had to have that fixed and a check mailed to me for the amount that I was shorted. After a month, The car was delivered to me which was great but it didnt have the leather seats. I called and they found a place where I live to do the seats. ***** had agreed to make the car look like it came with leather (doors and middle console) but then the company said that he told them he would not do it and I needed to call him. He never once returned my phone call after that and sent me straight to voicemail. Luckily I had family around the area and they went in and spoke to a manager. They showed them proof that ***** agreed and the issue was resolved. My point is customers should not have to prove anything and this should have been easier. They were taking advantage that I lived in a different area and that I am a young buyer. The managers also need to learn how to speak to customers. They will say well I dont know what you guys agreed on heres a tip youre the manager so you should say let me go talk to the salesperson and see what they say instead of treating customers like they are automatically in the wrong. This was not a easy experience on the customer and is by far the worst place to by a car. I dont know how they stay in business.
