June 27, 2023, I authorized Logan, salesperson for the dealership, to use my credit card and charge $1000 as a non-refundable deposit on a pre-owned vehicle. I filled out the form that gave him that authority. On July 17, 2023, I noticed on my credit statement that I had been charged $1035. This charge of $1035 was not authorized. Immediately I accessed their website, using the contact feature, and the Chat feature, to tell them I did not authorize it, and asked for them to cover around $50 since I had to pay fees, service charges, etc in Kansas, and that $1035 was not reflected on the paperwork I had to submit for titling the vehicle. I contacted the finance manager, ********** *** ***** **** *** ****** * ****** ******* ******* ****** *****) about two days later, and left a voice mail message. I contacted Logan by text, asking him to have either ********* ** **** to access the emails and respond by email (so I can have a paper trail); there has been no response from finance and/or the unauthorized charge issue. I am so concerned that they have access to my card, my personal information, and even more so, they can harm others this way too. They were so kind to me before and during the purchasing process, but they have not responded to my concern for the unauthorized $1035 charge, after six attempts to this date of my trying to contact them. I'm praying this was an honest mistake, and they are not taking advantage of me and others.

I have contacted ***** ******* by telephone to rectify the submitted complaint. Ms. ******* was not adequately informed that there is a 3.5% surcharge on her credit card transaction prior to the deposit being taken. We do our best to inform customers of this prior to credit transactions to give them an opportunity to use other means of payment. After speaking to Ms. ******* we agreed that a check mailed to her house in the amount of the surcharge ($35) would suffice. Ms. ******* was pleased with this proposal and the check will be mailed out today.

"Reed Buick GMC was absolutely wonderful in resolving my concern. I am very satisfied. I have already told another person, who is looking for a vehicle for their family member,  about the dealer. May the Lord Jesus bless their company, and may He also bless BBB too. And bless the readers of this review. Thank you so much, Reed Buick GMC, and BBB."

On October 22, I put a $1,500 deposit down on a Jeep to be built and arrive in Jan/Feb. The dealership told me the Jeep has not been started to be built and we're not sure when the build date or the arrival of the Jeep will be. I need a vehicle to drive soon and I asked the dealership to give my $1,500 back and they refused saying I signed a contract. I have not received a good or service. I am requesting the dealership do the right thing as the Jeep has not even begun to be built and return my $1,500. I've spoken to other dealerships who have said they should return the deposit and cancel the order if requested.
