My wife and I recently moved into a new house, and found that the roof is leaking. The roof was less than 3 years old, so we pulled permits to see who had replaced the roof, and it was Ramirez Roofing. I called Ramirez Roofing, and was told the roof is still under warranty, and they would gladly send somebody out within a few days to diagnose the problem for me. After a week and a half we hadn’t heard back so I called, and was again told well get somebody scheduled and call to let you know when they are going to be out. Again another week passed and somebody randomly showed up at our house, luckily we were home, because we never received notice. He climbed up on the roof for 5-10 minutes, and then was just gone. He never told us he was finished, never told us what he found. I followed up a few days later with Ramirez Roofing to see what he had found, and was told it isn’t in the notes, they will have to call me back. I never heard anything, and proceeded to call no less than a dozen times over the next two months. Every time I was told the same thing, and I never once received a call back. Finally, the owner called me, and stated that he was out of town, but would be back the following week and was going to personally come out and take a look at my roof. Well multiple weeks have passed since then, and again multiple phone calls to Ramirez Roofing have not been returned. I am now multiple months into this process, and still don’t know what the issue is with my roof. I’ve made over 15 calls to this company, and only ever received one call back, and nothing ever came of that call.Business response

Mr. ******* has been out of the country dealing with sick immediate family. He just got back into town a 7 am this morning. This was the first thing I asked him to address. The fact that the Better Business Bureau complaint came today was a coincidence.
Mr. ******* met with the homeowner today, got on the roof with the customer and showed him this is not a roof issue. The homeowner indicated he understood this is not aroof issue or a warranty issue.
We are genuinely apologetic that his concerns were not addressed after the technician first looked at it, however we are human and we sometimes have to deal with family illness. We fully understand his concerns and hope he will confirm with the Better Business Bureau that we were at his home today and this is not a roof or a warranty issue.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.Mr. ******* was out to my house the same day, took a look at my roof, and explained the issue. I understand and agree with his assessment. I'm satisfied with this resolution.
