I paid $142.00 for a storage unit may 31st 2024. I paid online using my debit card. Arriving at the unit there were large rat turds, rat bait traps, and rat poison all over the unit. I called to cancel my unit and ordered a refund immediately. We were told we had to give chance to place us in another unit before a refund would be permissible. Next unit. Same thing. I returned back to speak to someone and the company moved. I called and we are then told they issued a refund request. We were told that could take a couple of weeks for a check because they don’t send refunds electronically. 3 weeks go by and when we called back we were told the refund would take a month to be reviewed, accepted, and sent back out. weve tried calling multiple times weeks later and we cannot get anyone on a phone line to give us an update on a refund. But we never used this unit and we feel as though the company ran off with our money. Their website explains benefits and amenities, security on our purchase, that were/was never given and after numerous calls and emails, still no answer on our refund request.
