Quite appalled by the behavior at this clinic. We just relocated to ******** from ******** where we have been trying to find the best care for our 5 dogs. We visited ******* vet clinic on Friday June 17th where we had a full exam plus other expenses performed. We didnt agree with their professionalism and decided to visit Kimberling Animal hospital and what a terrible idea that was. The receptionist (****, who also happens to be the manager) booked our appointments for lepto boosters ONLY. We arrived at our appointment, which took 2 hours of our time, received an outrageous estimate for dental cleanings and extraction for 3 dogs, at which point we knew this office was in it for the money. In for those cleanings to take place, they requested a blood draw, we allowed for only TWO dogs to have blood drawn; THREE received one (so that is a breach of consent and authority). When we got to the front desk, miss **** gave us our total of $600. This was for only lepto boosters (vaccines) that we scheduled, until **** decided to charge for EVERYTHING that was not agreed to. When she asked for a signature on of an agreement to treatment , thats when you request a copy of that form! I told **** that she was out of line, unethical and disrespectful. Patient/clients right are being violated at this facility. We called her out on the issue of mass miscommunication where she promptly responded with a demeaning attitude (obviously embarrassed) and very ungrateful to a new customer after requesting $600 payment for an issue she created. This clinic is the tackiest group of individuals that I refuse to give business to. As far as Im concerned, I have a license number on a prescription and the right to file a complaint towards professionals that take advantage of each and every customer. The lack of ethics, professionalism, empathy, boundaries and pure common sense of a job behind a desk is baffling to me. The ego resides very high in this clinic.

**** did not schedule the appointment, but it was for Lepospirosis vaccinations for 4 dogs, which included a complimentary exam on one dog and discounted exams on the other three. We arrived at our appointment, which took 2 hours of our time, received an outrageous estimate for dental cleanings and extraction for 3 dogs, at which point we knew this office was in it for the money. Yes, there was 2 hours of our time as well involved. Remember, this is for 4 dogs. We allot ****************************************************************************************************** the exam room, the owner also requested nail trims, **** sac expressions, a sanitary shave on a dog that had matted f**** all over its rear end and prescription refills. The owner was complimentary in the exam room of the completeness of the physical examination in that several issues were discussed that previous veterinarians had not mentioned. We discussed the dental procedures and presented them with estimates. In the exam room, the owner expressed that the fees were very reasonable compared to ********. In for those cleanings to take place, they requested a blood draw, we allowed for only TWO dogs to have blood drawn; THREE received one (so that is a breach of consent and authority). In going over the dental procedure estimates, we recommended blood work to be sent out to an outside laboratory, as it is less expensive than if we do the blood work in house. The estimates were given to be fully transparent and to ensure the owner knew what was involved. We did not force them into doing it at that time, stating it could be done several days prior to the dental procedure so we would have the results back in time (usually takes 24 36 hours to receive the results) for the procedure. The owner stated she wanted to get the dental procedures done and agreed to have blood drawn from all three dogs. When we got to the front desk, miss **** gave us our total of $600. This was for only lepto boosters (vaccines) that we scheduled, until **** decided to charge for EVERYTHING that was not agreed to. The owners **** was $367.Again, the ***** herself requested additional services in the exam room as well as a prescription for Apoquel, an expensive product in itself, (the prescription was over $100). When she asked for a signature on of an agreement to treatment , thats when you request a copy of that form! We didnt ask for a signature on an agreement to treatment. We printed the estimates out for the owners information about what the protocol is and the costs of doing a dental procedure. This is where the owner became hateful and verbally abusive. Yelling and cursing. There was no need for that behavior. **** is one of the kindest individuals I know. So we are very confused. She was complimentary in the exam room, she knew what the prices where and we didnt do anything without her approval. If she had a problem with the services offered or prices, why wasnt it brought ** in the exam room? Why did she feel she needed to bully the staff? The front staff asked if she wanted to speak to me, the practice owner, and she refused. This is a reason why we offer discounted examinations for new clients; to decide it our practice is a good fit. We are not a shoot and scoot vaccination clinic. The Dr./ ****** relationship is a two way street. Trust and communication, as well as respectful behavior goes both ways. Yes, I am very proud of my staff. They exceed the standards set for service. They do a wonderful job interacting with people and since ****, we have never encountered an individual like this.

Good to know that you write inaccurate facts when its related to the legalities of you business when this is made public. A complaint has been sent to the board of veterinarian services; you are in violation of many things, Including your false report of the blood work that you successfully neglected to tell the truth on. As far as the paperwork; OFFER A COPY. Your establishment is quite appalling. Do you ever wonder why customers leave your clinic? It has everything to do with your response to a review such as this. Its why the BBB even exists; to keep the public aware of businesses like you. You do not know our family, our dogs and what any of our animals have been through. Very grateful to have found better care at an affordable price. Each person we have met since our visit to your clinic told us to stay far away from your business; youve wronged them too. Your establishment is unappealing in every way.
