We called Rains Repairs recently for an icemaker not making ice. He came out and we were told we needed a new ice maker which he had to order but said to pay him $100 now and the rest when he completed the repair. which we did. later that day he said that he had an icemaker in stock and could come back the same day to install it. He came by installed the ice maker and we paid him the remaining balance of $115. unfortunately the ice maker never made ice. I contacted **** Rains to let him know and he said it usually can take 24 hrs for it to start working. it had almost been that long already but we waited another day. Contacted him again and he said he would get back to us in a bit. He never got back to us and we texted him and called numerous times with no response. I checked with my bank and he had cashed both checks the same day of the repair. So we are out $215 for a "repair" that was never made. look on ****** at his reviews and you will see a lot of people that had the same issue. He also has 3 complaints at the BBB that are very similar to ours. DO NOT TRUST HIM!
