Do yourself a favor, Do not use Wagner Garage Doors. Prepaid a $50 deposit. ********** was suppose to be here between 12 and 1 and didn't show up until 5. We had to call twice to see when they were coming. Gave two different excuses. FINALLY Walked in, looked at the spring that was broke, that they replaced a few years ago, and said it will be $750 for upgrades springs. We said no thank you. Called another company, came out right away and it was only $320..he said there is no such thing as an upgraded spring. BEWARE!!!Review from Kerry H

Wagner Door Co LLC was hired to install three doors, two exterior and one storm door. When installing the storm door the installers tried to alter the storm door in order to get the door to work. When they completed the lock would not latch nor could we latch the sliding glass windows. They were paid in full upon leaving. (Our mistake for paying in full.) The owner blamed the door manufacturer for the problems. The manufacturer luckily replaced the storm door. Reluctant to use Wagner door again to install the new storm door another installer was called. The new installer looked at the exterior door and said it was flexing (moving). There were no shims anywhere on the exterior door and you could see daylight along the top and sides of the exterior door. (We have pictures of this.) Wagner door was called and the owner claimed his installers would have put in shims. He denied there were any problems with the installation and promptly hung up on us. The second installer fixed the issues with the exterior door installation and hung the storm door without issue. The owner of Wagner door would not admit the door was installed incorrectly and kept blaming the manufacturer. We also checked the patio door that Wagner door installed and there were no shims put in that door also. That issue was taken care of by us. Please do not use Wagner Door for any door installation. Due to the above issues Wagner door deserves no STARS!Review from James M

We called this company about adjusting a barn door, we were quoted $175.00 from another company and wanted to compare the price with this company, however, we were told that we had to pay a service fee of $50.00 to send out a technician, they stated once we paid that fee, the remaining balance would be just the labor fee, and they would estimate that it would take a half hour or less to complete the need adjustment. The technician came out and adjusted the door then billed us $400.00. We called this company to dispute this fee and were only offered a $50.00 adjustment. Had we been provided the cost as we had requested, we would have definitely gone with a more reasonable company for the quick adjustment that they provided to us.

Unfortunately due to the unprecedented costs to do business with insurance, fuel and payroll we do our best to keep costs down. Uncertain if the other company is fully insured but we believe it's an important part of doing our kind of service.Review from Nichole C

Wagner previously installed our garage door 8 years ago, at a cost of $900 and we had a great experience. Unfortunately, the experience was not the same today when one of the springs broke. I called and spoke to ***, he told me that it would be a $50 deposit on our card that amount would be applied to the service, if we chose to move forward after the bid for the spring replacement was shared with me. If we didn't accept the bid, the $50 would be retained as a service charge. Instead his crew replaced two springs, without having me sign the bid first and presented me with an invoice for $550! I expressed my displeasure and immediately called ***. He first tried to imply that the previous springs installed, when the door was put in weren't the as good a quality as the ones his crew just installed...he seemed shocked when I reminded him that he was personally the one who installed the door 8 years ago. Then he apologized that they didn't tell me in advance what the amount would be and offered to give me a discount on future work! Is he kidding? The only reason we would ever reach out to this company again, would be if there were an issue within the two-year warranty for the springs that were just installed. This is no way to do business! He should be ashamed. I'm a Realtor and often provide my clients with referrals to service providers but I definitely won't be doing so for Wagner Garage *************
