Item is a home railing for our yard. Requested cancellation on order which was denied. Asked not to bring to our home. Was also denied. Prior to railing completion had asked if he could sell it. Was told they don't do that. Commitment was to install railing. Dropped off before normal working hours on our front lawn without notice. After waiting months for entire project, we came to find that this expected one day project couldn't be completed to meet our standards of expectations. Our neighbors, who are builders and familiar with our property, told us that the railing was wrong for our property, along with excavation that was inappropriate. We're an elderly respectful and highly honored and respected retired military and serving couple. This project was for our own safety and security for which my husband is an expert. As I tried to give info about us and to provide advice and direction only uncooperative inadequate remarks brought no resolution to the commitment in progress. Couldn't help but wonder if the delays were to try and increase the original estimated amount. In mentioning this and stating that we wouldn't pay more due to the delays, he was out of control with disrespectful remarks. Asked to make no more contact to him. Caused me to have my say unkindly in being a kind and thoughtful professional. If we can receive the paid amount for a refund, we will remove our complaint from BBB. Should note that the invoice arrived two days after the due date. Paid to avoid a collections situation. Our payment posted Oct.. 11 2023. Allowed so much time for a project without resolution. Project requested submission was to include landscape. Came to find they don't do landscape work. Too many wrongs make no right. Not meant to be. Our home builder neighbors are so busy. They will make every effort to come up with and implement a safe and secure project to completion. This may be next spring to summer.
