      MGC was very welcoming and worked with me to get me into my lease. The neighborhood was mostly quiet, which was nice, and the unit was mostly taken care of moving in. There were some minor issues with the property moving in and they assured me that this was their standard and that I wouldn’t have to worry about it. My property manager was very nice moving in. MGC is a good sales job, however after completing two years of a lease autopaying on time monthly with no leasing issues, MGC has decided to charge me for normal wear and tear and preexisting issues. MGC has also decided to go after my credit to make me pay for conditions that were already there when I moved in. I took immaculate care of the property and maintained excellent communication with property managers. MGC knows they shouldn’t be charging for preexisting conditions and normal wear and tear but they do it because they have the power to wreck credit if you don’t pay them. Tammy M***** is the Property Manager, Andy M***** is the landlord owner. The property had minor damage when I moved in, yet they want me to be financial responsible. They ask for photos of the property that they don’t even have. If you can’t prove your innocence, your presumed guilty and they have the power to force you into the paying them. Don’t lease from MGC, they will force you to pay for normal wear and tear and preexisting conditions if you don’t have the best photographs. They don’t have the photographs either though…. Very corrupt organization.

      Hi Logan! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. We have an obligation to the property owner to collect for damage to the property that is above normal wear and tear and we utilize multiple tools to assist residents in ensuring that they are not charged for pre-existing conditions or excessive charges. At move-in, residents are provided with a move-in condition form and they are encouraged to document the conditions of every part of their unit. This form is reviewed again at move-out to ensure that you are not charged for any damage that existed before your move-in. If the damage was not documented, we have no proof that it was there previously. When residents submit their notice to vacate, we send move-out instructions to give our residents a clear understanding of what needs to be done to get the best refund. Any damage to the property above normal wear and tear is charged back to the tenant as these are things that would not need repair under normal use. There were damages left behind at your unit that were not there before your tenancy and we do have photo documentation to support this including several inspection photos that showed no damage during a portion of your lease term. The correspondence between you and your property manager also allowed you an additional opportunity to provide documentation proving otherwise, but none was produced.
