This company built our home. Since they installed the cabinets the framework is cracked and the cabinets are uneven. I have had several doors replaced and within 30 days they crack. They recently called again and wanted to replace the door again. Some of my cabinets are painted and some are not and nobody call tell me why. I have several windows and glass doors that have a fogging issue. I keep having to call and call and I should not have to deal with these issue. I paid for a new house and should not have to deal with these issues. They did not install shudders that we paid for and we had to put them up ourselves. He told us to go get a contractor for carpet and flooring and now we have defective carpet in our home. In our final bid there was a $7,000 mistake that my husband caught. The basement concrete cracked and we had water coming in. We also have a hump and crack in our flooring. There is a construction light in my hallway closet. This is supposed to be a brand new home. We can't get anyone to resolve these issues.

The consumers purchased the cabinet direct, we only installed them, which were completely level and free of defects at that time. Many factors can cause the issues being reported here in this complaint. Our company did adjust the cabinetry doors free of charge and at that time we found no workmanship errors. The quality of the cabinets should be directed to the retailer or manufacturer, we did not make or purchase the cabinets, again we only installed them. The windows we installed were ********** made by ******** , ********** went to their home and inspected the windows, acting in good faith they did replace the windows they had concerns with. It is not uncommon for homes to pull moisture from the foundation and concrete during the first year. All of this was explained to the homeowner. The shutters were on our base proposal as basic raised shutters, however /the homeowners changed their minds and wanted to go with custom shutters instead. We agreed to the homeowners ordering and installing the shutters themselves. I provided a full credit for the shutters and installation to the consumers. The consumers ordered and paid for the flooring directly, then paid the contractor directly to install the flooring, our company was not paid for any flooring services. The $7000.00 error the consumers mention within this complaint was not verified by our company but acting in good faith only we adjusted the final bill to satisfy our customer. The crack in the concrete was found to be dry and did not appear to be a leaking issue, again we explained that concrete can get settlement cracks that are only a cosmetic concern and not a structural concern. We did apply epoxy to the dry crack  to again insure customer satisfaction.  Lighting, plumbing, and paint was all chosen by the homeowners and they paid the independent contractors directly to install them. The consumers have all contractors direct information, these are wonderful contractors that offer quality workmanship, I am sure they would address any concerns the homeowners may have. We value all our customers and stand behind our workmanship and contractors 100%. The homeowners can contact me directly with any workmanship concerns they have with work that we were paid directly for, all other workmanship concerns should be addressed with the independent contractors they hired and paid. All manufacturer issues should be addressed through the manufacturers as well.
