5/31/2023 I went to Ark animal hospital because I believed that my dog was poisoned. I had talked to poison control the night before and they were the ones who verified my suspicions about it. When I went to Ark they tested for a bunch of different things but not poison like I had said to. They didn’t have a positive test. They did give me pills and told me to buy a certain dog food. When I called back to see if they had any more cans of the dog food I was supposed to get for my dog they told me that they didn’t have any in the office and I would have to order some online that would’ve taken 2-3 days to get shipped to my house. I asked to talk to the veterinarian and they said he was out of town. I went to the clinic that same day and asked them if I could buy some of the prescription dog food that I had been told they were out of and they had plenty in the office. I called later and asked the nurse why she lied and she hung up on me. Ive called twice since then and they said their schedule was full. I finally asked them if there was a problem with me and they said yes. And I never got anything but lies before I asked them that. My dog was sick again and I was trying to get him seen but they again didn’t give me any information that was true. My dog couldn’t get the prescription the doctor gave me to give my dog because they didn’t give me a straight answer and I don’t know why. I called again and they gave me the runaround again for some reason instead of telling me the truth. I want my money back.

The first visit there was no evidence of poisoning on your pet, and blood tests were offered to check for poisoning but you declined them. Medication and food for diarrhea was sent home. When you came back into the office on 6/1 this is my medical notation from that day:

"CT: 06-01-23 at 8:25a: tried to talk with owner in the room. He is convinced that his mother is giving his dog Drano and trying to poison both him and his dog. The entire time he was agitated, fidgeted, and did not speak coherently. I asked him if he had called the police, he said he had. I asked him if there is someone else he could call, like a family member, to help him watch his dog, he said his cousin was coming today. I told him I did not see any chemical burns in the mouth, but was happy to do lab work to look for any toxicity. The problem is that lab work might not show it. I also explained that his pet not eating and drooling is more likely a sign of nausea and he needs nausea medicine. At that point the owner got short with me and said they were good they didn't need anything and he wanted to leave. I walked him out and he said goodbye."

There was no charge for this second visit.

Since then you have belligerently called several times, weeks or even months apart, and harassed my staff. We have marked your account as deactivated and you are no longer a client here. If you become established elsewhere we will happily send medical records at their request. If you show up again on our property my staff has been instructed to call the police.
