I contacted ******, the owner to repair my ignition switch in my 2004 Chrysler Crossfire at his shop. He towed my car and then told me if would be 5 to 6 weeks before the part would arrive due to COVID-19. I waited for the part and contacted him and that's when he stated the part would not arrive until December and he needed to return my car and I needed to take it to ********** to get it repaired. When he towed my car back to me, the windshield was broken and my entire ignition switch was sawed off. He did repair the window however, but when I reached out to him for assistance with the repair which was quoted at $3000...he stated he would help me. Since then. I have reached out to him several times with no response. Now I'm having trouble trying to get the car towed to a different repair shop and he had no business touching the car if the part was not available. I asked him why he did that and he stated he needed to move my car. I have pictures and text of the damage he has done and simply filing a negative review is not going to help me. He needs to pay for the steering wheel assembly, switch and programming for a car that I purchased in ** and was only able to drive once because the key would not turn. I still didn't understand why my switch was sawed off period when he was waiting on parts to come in. He quoted me a price of $1000 which I paid $500. He returned that in a check but I called him immediately about my windshield being cracked. I have had my car towed to ********** but I can't afford the repair alone due to the serious damage he has caused to my car. If this is not resolved, I will take him to court.Business response
