I order a Canadel table in September of 2022 the sales person was not as knowledgeable as I thought she was. I ask questions about the code for the table leg she didn’t know why the one I found on line was different than the one she was using. I ask why the color I was going to order I could find where I found the table with the leg I wanted. She didn’t know. I thought the table we were building was the table I wanted, it was not. I had to sign off on the order which I did because I thought she was ordering what I was wanting it was not. I thought I was ordering from a high end furniture store the sales person would know the product they are selling she did not. I got the table in December it didn’t look right my husband and both noticed it was the wrong legs. I called and went by the store. I talked to the manager as soon as she seen what I was talking about she said that leg is not available on the table you ordered. I said if I was ever told that I would have chose a different table. I was lead to believe the whole time by their sales person I was getting what I wanted. I spent $3600 on this table that they are saying I’m stuck with it because I signed off on order. But as I said I only did that because I was lead to believe by their sales person that I was getting what I wanted. You spend that kind of money you expect to be dealing with knowledgeable sales people in a high end furniture store. They only person paying for the mistake is me. None of this seems right.Business response

**** ******** acknowledged and signed the back and front of the sales invoice (our Shubert Design contract).
On the sales invoice signed by the customer, all sku numbers and details are clearly written, including the leg style. All the proper sku numbers and colors were applied correctly and that is what we received.
All consumers have access to Canadel's website. On this website, the customer can see all products and applications provided by Canadel.
Again, the leg style is clearly written on the ticket that was signed by **** *********
**** ********** salesperson, ***** ********, has worked for Shubert Design Furniture for several years and has never made an error on a special order or an in stock order on all the products we carry. Normally, when ordering Canadel, the items are built online with our design team and the products being purchased can be clearly viewed by the customer.
Shubert Design takes the consumer very seriously and we strive to provide a high quality of service. Shubert Design has an A+ rating with the BBB. Over the last 3 years, and with thousands of purchases being made over that time, we have had only one complaint with the BBB which was resolved and closed.

I am rejecting this response because:I was led to believe I was getting what I wanted! The manager at Shubert Design knew right away the leg didn't go with the table I got. When I first brought this problem to her attention.I ask the question about the code on the leg with the salesperson several times she knew the leg was the thing that was important to me. She didn't know and didn't ask anyone. She made me believe she knew what she was doing. She kept telling me the leg was the nn leg I wanted the vc leg that came from a completely different collection. SHE didn't know this. How would I know that there are different lines within a furniture manufacturer. She should have known this and showed me all options. She didn't she just pushed forward with what she thought was the leg and table.The leg of the table was the Important part, and she knew that. She didn't say that Canadel had lots of different options and showed them to me. She clearly made the mistake, but I am the only one paying for her lack of knowledge. I did sign the bill of sale but again she kept saying nn leg like she was a 100% sure that is what I wanted.You go to a high-end furniture store to buy a table that will last you the rest of your life you put your trust in them to get it right. If she has even tried once to ask anyone else, why the leg code wasn't the same to anyone else in the store this problem might have been avoided. This is her business knowing furniture not mine. I showed her several times on my phone the table with the leg I was hoping for.The Manager knew right away they had different lines within the furniture manufacturer. The salesperson that I did business with didn't.Again, I feel the only person paying for her lack of knowledge is me. Shubert Design needs to take some responsibility for the knowledge or the lack thereof that their salespeople.I feel they have done nothing to make this problem better but to say they are right, and I am wrong. I say I put trust in their salesperson she should have been knowledgeable ask questions of someone with more knowledge in the store if she was not sure. None of that happened. As I see it, they only see that they are right, and I am wrong. This is the worst company I've ever done business with in my 67 years of life.Sincerely,
