The company was doing lawn care and their lawn mower flew debris and damaged the passenger side of my car. I called the police and they took note of it and the employee admitted fault. ****** the manager stated he would take care of my vehicle no worries. I went and had an estimate on my cars damage and sent it to him and thats when things changed and he stated he was not going to pay the damages. I had just gotten the car and now I have damage to it that he wont take accountability for. Untrustworthy and no morals! Hope this never happens to anyone else!Business response

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this situation has caused. We take these matters very seriously and are committed to resolving them fairly.
Upon being contacted by ************** initially, we spoke with our crew and our crew manager to obtain more information. We also spoke to the police officer who was called out to make a report of the situation. After the police officer investigated the area, he determined that there were no objects in the area that looked like they could have caused the damage. Based on the size and shape of the dents, we also do not believe that a rock or debris caused the damage. When scraping through dents occurs, it is unlikely that the trajectory of a rock could hit a car directly enough to cause a dent and simultaneously cause scrapes through the dent onto the side of the car. ************** later added more information that was not included in the initial contact, which stated that there was a scrape across his hood. We also believe it is not possible for flying debris kicked up by a riding lawn mower to scrape across a car hood at an angle or height that would cause such damage. We have attached pictures of the dents and the scrape across the hood.
We have submitted the claim to our insurance and recommended that ************** submit a claim to his insurance as well. This is our standard procedure.

Ok, so apparently this is a he said she said situation. So let me get this straight.. I picked up my daughter from school drive by your lawn mower service, pulled over to speak with the employee, called police and stood on the side of the street for 20 mins for no reason?? Look you are at fault and there is nothing you can say that will change the true facts. The police noted debris from mower hit my car, your employee was crying because he didnt want to lose his job and admitted to doing so. Consumers reading this will know the truth no one would make this up! You appreciate been through this before to know how to lie and cover up for your actions! Like I said untrustworthy and liar company! I will be sure to spread the word, the truth and your story

Re damaged property - ********** lawn service My name is *****************. I live at ********************************** I have been a loyal customer with your company for years. I have a complaint, there was an incident on my property with your grass mowers crew, they damaged my gas meter and turned it sideways and detached it from my house. No one from your office contacted me to let me know what happened. I had to find out when I attempted to turn on my stove. This was dangerous and could have killed me and blew up my house. This was negligent and I do not want your crew on my property anymore. It has been days and no one from Mid America Lawn has contacted me to apologize. It**;s clear to me that your company does not care about my life, property or customer service.Note: When this occurred, I immediately reached out to ****** to inform him what happened and sent him pictures like he asked and requested.Business response

************* contacted me Thursday August 31 early evening at 5:45 pm with pictures about the damaged gas meter. I took her phone call and asked her to send photos. I immediately contacted my supervisor to talk to the crew that cut her lawn on Tuesday August 29 at 12:30 pm. My crew responded quickly and said they didn't damage any of the property and they didn't notice anything while working on the property. ************* notified me that she was going to contact the gas company to get it fixed.
In a similar situation over 1 year ago one my crews did hit a gas line and immediately notified the homeowner and the gas company and all was fixed within a few hours. Over our 40 years of business we have trained our teams to notify us of any damages right away. This situation was odd to me since it was over 2 days from when we were on the property.
The next communication was a text and email saying she was not satisfied with how we handle the situation and she was cancelling services. I didn't feel it was prudent to get into a "who is right" conversation, and I was just happy her property was made whole and she was ok.
I didn't feel further communication would be beneficial to either party.
I am thankful that ************* is safe, but respectfully disagree with her complaint and ask that it be removed.

Please see attachment with my complete response. I don't like the way Mid America Lawn handled my situation. I would not complain and be upset over nothing and I don't make a habit of accusing innocent people/ Companies. I'm not that kind of person. I don't want this to happen to anyone else because the way Mid America Lawn handled this was unacceptable. This is why I decided to file a formal complaint and do not want my complaint to be removed.
