On May 29, 2024, Westport Pools technicians came to repair a low flow problem with our pool. They were unable to repair the problem. However, when attempting to do so, they cracked the salt chlorinator. They agreed to take the module back to the office and have it sent for repairs. I furnished them with an RMA label from the manufacturer of the salt chlorinator, Circu Pool. The techs said someone would be coming back to make a temporary repair to the unit so that the filter could be turned on. No one came that afternoon or the next morning so I purchased a cap to make the temporary repair. That afternoon I finally got in touch with *********************, the sales person who had arranged the repair appointment. He said the tech was unable to come that day but was planning to come the next day. I told him I already made the repair and wanted to be sure they received the module to send back to **********. On May 31, 2024 I called back to confirm that they sent the module. I spoke with ********************* and he said they would be sending it. On June 7, 2024 I called ********** to see if they had received the module and they had not. I emailed ********************* for the tracking number. He referred me to **** who he said sent it in. **** was unable to get the tracking number but said she would find out what was going on. After several calls to her over the next two weeks and not getting any more information regarding the status of the delivery, I emailed ********************* again asking him to see if he could help. I did not receive any reply. I tried calling both **** and ********************* June 24 but neither answered returned my call. I would like Westport Pools to order replacement parts that they damaged from **********. I would also request reimbursement for the cap that I had to purchase ($6.50) and the liquid chlorine required because the salt chlorinator is not working (1/2 gallon/day from May 29, 2024 until salt chlorinator is fixed at $6.84/gallon0.
