This complex was not licensed to rent apartments at the time of my application. The team repeatedly lied that they had an apartment for me. When I applied for an apartment I told them I was attempting to leave a domestic violence situation, yet released information about my potential rental to an unauthorized person without question I have been told repeatedly by *** in the office that I would get a full refund and have received nothing. These people have issues with truths I want my refund. I will file my next complaint with the city of Maryland Heights ***These people needs to learn the ramifications of breach of confidentiality. I was trying to find a safe place to live and they new this. They exposed my safety

Good afternoon, we have provided a $200 refund to the applicant via check to the forwarding address provided - this was done prior to the complaint being filed. We did have a delay in move-in due to waiting on occupancy inspections from the City of Maryland Heights but did not release any personal information about the applicant.

I moved into Maryland Park Apartments July 30th 2022. On my first day of move in I opened a cabinets and found 3 roaches. I told management and they said they would have someone come spray. Later that night I found about 10 more along with a hidden trap. This trap indicates that they were aware there was a bug issue before I moved in. Also while finding and killing bugs noticed that the apartment was unclean. Upset I emailed and requested a bug service as soon as possible. That Tuesday someone came to spray and fog. It made no improvement. In the past 2 weeks they have sprayed 3 more times and I have now found well over a 150 roaches. The spray is doing nothing and I have kept them updated the whole process. Roaches carry diseases and it is not safe for them to be all over the apartment. I am unable to put anything in my cabinets or kitchen because the roaches crawl all over at night. I requested to break the lease because of the unresolvable bug issue and they said I couldn’t with out paying over $3132 as per the lease. I tried to explain that they moved me into a roach infested building and it was not on my own fault that I am wanting to break the lease. They suggested I try a different unit. I agreed they informed me the open unit I could move into was $1100 and my current was only $783. And I’d have to pay $500 to even switch units. They said they could try and honor my current rent but could not promise it. If not I would then have to pay 1100 to maybe not live with bugs. This is a massive rent increase just to have a safe living environment. I have only lived here a week in a half and despite having bug issues from day one my only option is stay and hope that when they treat the whole building that the bug issue will resolve. If not they can come spray weekly. Which they already have been trying and I spray my own store bought bug killer daily. Dispute their attempt there is no reasonable solution that they are offering.

I submitted and application to this complex back in December 2021, and had to pay $350 for application and fees. In the description it stated that if the application was declined they refund the full amount. Its new March and I still failed to received payment from this complex. I have called many many times and a lot of the times I called they didn't answer. when I would leave a voicemail, no one would ever reach back out. Id have to call back to back like 2-6 times just for them to answer, and even then they didn't handle much for me. They also stated they sent the money to me 2-3 times and I never received a dime at all. I

I applied for an apartment, paying a $150 application fee. I was denied the apartment, and was supposed to get a refund. They had endorsed the money order so I couldn't cash it. I took it back to them in August, they said they would deposit it and issue a refund to me, but to date I have still not received it. I call them every couple of weeks, and they remember the situation, but nobody seems to be doing anything about it.
