We were helped by ******. We brought him almost the entirety of the parts to put on our truck. When we left his shop from bringing him the parts, it was past 9am. By 2:30pm he told me they were finishing up. Yet, he charged us for 8.5 hours of labor. Futhermore, he basically double charged us on the labor - he charged us labor on replacing brake shoes and drums, then separate labor for replacing hubs and wheels. All of which would have been done at the same time. He showed it as 4 hours for brakes and 4.5 hours for drums and rotors - when the truck was only in the shop for 6 hours maximum. The shop is not even open for 8.5 hours in one day. He also charged us for "transporting wheels" even though we asked him repeatedly to just put the old wheels on our trailer and we would take them home (and he agreed to do so). It should be noted that the reality of it is he never transported the wheels anywhere, he took them off our truck and our driver had to load them onto our trailer. We bought brake drums from him instead of bringing our own only because he specifically told us they would be $150/piece, but he charged us $199 a piece. Before we left his shop from dropping off the parts, he quoted us roughly $1,000-$1,500. When they finished the truck and we called for the invoice - he charged us nearly $2,500. He then claimed that his original quote was ONLY for the labor - which would have added up to 10-15 hours worth of labor. All-in-all, he blatantly overcharged us and did not at all stick to his word on anything. Not impressed at all, and would absolutely never recommend this place to anyone. There is easily $500 of the invoice he gave us, that he should not have charged us. On the brake drums alone, he charged us $49/piece more than what he had told us it would be, making for $196 over charge. Not to mention the $100/hour on labor that he added extra hours to. Finally, he charged us tax on the whole thing even though we gave them our EIN information.
