On March 9, 2024, a new inquiry from ************************ *************************************************************************" showed up on my credit report. A quick ****** search directed me to Leaf Capital, and I attempted to call but was unable to reach anyone to place a dispute and ensure that someone was not attempting to use my identity to gain access to capital. I then sent an email to **************** telling them that I am concerned that someone is trying to use my identity to open a credit line. I let them know in that email that I had not authorized a credit inquiry with Leaf Capital and that I was not seeking a new credit line. I would like someone from Leaf to contact me as soon as possible to work this out.Customer response

Our office had a contract with Leaf Capital for a lease on a printer. The lease was completed May 18,2022 and proper notice was given to Leaf to terminate this contract. The contract was paid in full and the printer was returned to Leaf. I was informed by ***********************************, *********************** Specialist, that the contract was completed and no further ACH payments would be withdrawn from our account on May 11th, 2022. On May 19th, 2022, our account was debited $189.34. I contact ********************** on June 2nd, 2022 when this was discovered and received an email confirming that it was debited in error and we would receive a refund. To this date, no refund has been received. I have attempted to further contact ********************** on June 16th, June 17th and June 20th, leaving messages for her to return and have heard nothing from her company.Business response

This posting is to acknowledge receipt of the communication related to case number ********. LEAF takes feedback very seriously. We have reviewed this matter and, in order to protect the privacy of the complainant, LEAF has been in direct contact with the customer. LEAF can confirm that a refund check was issued in the amount requested by the customer, and this check was issued and sent before this complaint was received, however to date the customer has not received the check. LEAF will continue to follow up directly with the customer to ensure the refund is received.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference tocomplaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. As of today, the refund has still not been received. *********** has agreed to send this UPS. I will be back in contact with the BBB if this does not occur.
