This was our second install with Lovelace and with **** the owner. This was to install indoor-outdoor carpet on our porch that we are converting to 4 season. We were concerned about gaps between deck boards being felt and wanted plywood layed down first but *** was certain that wasnt needed and said by him laying down 2 layers of tar paper and a pad we wouldnt feel the gaps. We do! I wasnt sure the carpet was same as we ordered so after speaking with ******** I went to Lovelace carpet to confirm and then later discuss the gaps with *** but he was there so I talked with him. ******** kept interfering. *** was like another person. We have always listened to his stories and had the utmost respect for him but he was very mean and accusatory to me and as I was leaving his store (never raised my voice or showed any type of disrespect or anger). He told me to get out after saying some pretty mean things to me. I got teary eyed and said I couldnt believe this side of him and despite his age of 83 he came outside as I was nearing my car, he was with anger on his face and kept coming towards me and I felt scared and threatened. I had to pull away without even putting my seatbelt on cause I felt unsafe as I no longer knew what he was capable of. A true Jekyll and Hyde personality and will never recommend or use again. Im shocked and saddened by his behavior??
