      This person claimed to do the project I requested and paid a deposit to do the work. Once I paid the $300 deposit via cashapp he completely stopped responding and never refunded my deposit. This occurred on January 11th 2023.

      May 10, 2022-*******************, owner of Midwest Epoxy Works, responded to my initial inquiry to have some concrete countertops completed in our outdoor kitchen July 5, 2022-I sent *** some pictures of the job and he responded back that he would email me an estimate (estimate is attached). The same day I accepted the estimate and he replied that he would be by the following day to look at the job in person July 6, 2022-*** showed up at our house to take measurements of the space and to collect a deposit check in the amount of $658.00 (half of the total job). He stated that he thought they could have the countertops installed in a couple weeks, but assured me he would have them done by August 6th, as we were having an outdoor birthday party for my son. The cashed check and "Invoice Payment Made" email are attached. Various dates-*** communicated with me on various questions about the job and other jobs we had briefly discussed as potential jobs over the next couple weeks. July 12-*** came by to take some more measurements August 1-I sent a text checking in on when *** thought he would be done and I received no response August 2-I sent a follow up text and *** asked if they could install on Friday (August 5) at noon. I responded that would be fine August 5-*** told me he was doing a flooring job in Oklahoma and probably wouldn't make it to install until the next morning. I responded that would be less than ideal, as that was the day of the party. He responded "they will be there for sure!"August 6-I text *** at 7:39am to see if they were planning to be there soon and I got no reply Over the course of the next few weeks myself and my husband tried to contact *** via text, phone call, voicemail, email, and ******** message. After leaving him a negative review on the BBB and ****** he told us our check was in the mail on September 12, 2022. It has now been 16 days and we have not received the check. We have once again been trying to contact *** to see when we can expect

      I paid a deposit on on a table on 7/22/2021 and was promised delivery in 4 weeks. SRE Surfaces has not returned my money nor delivered on the table despite numerous phone calls, texts, and emails requesting either solution.

      We had some drastic changes made during this hard time and we got really behind on orders while 4 of our employee's were sick or unable to come to work. I would love to make a table for you or give you a refund. Thanks - *** ******

      I have still not received payment.  I would like this re-opened and further action take if possible.  thank you
