I have worked with Extra Mile for over a decade on various home repair projects. The nature of my work often demands short timeframes for bids and work completion as well as an understanding of exactly what fix serves the client best long term. Extra Mile has always been honest, accommodating, and does good work that is always third party inspected. The owner makes himself available to help me and my clients understand scope/nature of work as well as any possible alternate solutions. The owner has never failed to look out for the client above all in my experience.

I was put in touch with Extra Mile over 5 years ago when I was buying my second home. The inspector was honest and knowledgeable. He assisted me through the purchase of my home and past closing when the sellers contractors failed to make a repair that the sellers had already agreed to make. The sellers contractor had insisted that a warped and wet subfloor under a leaking and unbalanced toilet in the bathroom would dry out, which it didnt. *** kept in touch with my realtor and me to be an extra witness and make sure the sellers contractor fulfilled the repair agreement, I am thankful for him. I hired Extra Mile to do the inspection of my 3rd and current home as well. While under contract, the home I was selling had a toilet overflow while we werent home and the floor in the bathroom had to be replaced. We were like 2 weeks from closing and even though it was short notice they made time to help us out, *** and his crew got the repairs done and did an awesome job.Since then I have hired Extra Mile to do numerous repairs on my home, large and small. They are awesome and do great work. I will continue to call Extra Mile in the future!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Extra Mile Home Inspection Services. ******, the office staff, and work crew for home inspection and the needed home repairs were all fantastic. Only 5 Stars show for the review rating, but I would give a 6 Star or ABOVE rating because it was Extra ************ in my opinion. I am in the process of selling my home to my son who currently lives with me and wanted to make sure the home would be in great condition and we would each have the benefit and experience for our best interest. Good thing I insisted on the home inspection because there were definitely issues that required much needed attention for repair. ****** and the crew were very professional, experienced, skilled, prompt, reliable, friendly and respectful for successful completion of the work to make the home safe, have great quality and comfortable. Extra Mile Home Inspection Services pricing is very reasonable and a great value. Top Notch in my book!

If you want it done wrong, sloppy, and not on time these are your guys. An absolute joke of a company. Dont waste your time call the next guy. The owner will treat you like a mushroom feed you excrement and keep you in the dark. Honesty is not in the nature of this company.

The job this previous client is referring to had county inspectors and a structural engineer that approved everything we have done. Their deficient septic/lagoon set back the project start time for months (all we have documentation of). Multiple changes to the job including a room addition that went from approx. 750 sq ft to almost **** sq ft, without ** changing the price or time frame (end of June). The weather was also a cause for delays at times. Weekly updates were given via email and text msg to verify, we have copies of all. We also have copies of invoices paid and unpaid. The client refused to pay 2 unpaid invoices, then they fired ** two weeks from the competition when the final balance would be owed.

This comment from the owner , as well as all his other comments to previous reviews is exactly what you will get * nothing but excuses for everything. The square footage increase was agreed upon before any dirt work ever begun. Completion date was supposed to be April * relationship was dissolved after contractors were 60days past original completion date and no end in sight. We only asked them to leave after they informed us they would not work anymore without prepayment for something else. (DO NOT PREPAY THESE FOLKS!!) Invoices are being held because other invoices that were paid in full * the work was left incomplete. We have pictures, emails, texts and recorded conversations to document all of this. Just yesterday a plumber had to redo their work as our hot water pipes were leaking inside the wall! It was discovered that used plumbing was installed * yet we were billed and PAID for new. The septic did not set anything back. We were given 6 months to complete the septic * it literally had nothing to do with the other project. This company, specifically the owner will never admit any fault or stand behind his work. They are messy. You never know when they will be there and they will likely never complete anything they start. I am disabled. A paraplegic that uses a wheelchair. One of the projects I paid them for was a deck and ramp to get me inside. My home. This was the project they left in shambles. I paid for labor in full to complete this project and now it sits incomplete. They told me it would be a 35ft ramp * I now have a 60ft ramp to get in and out of my home every day. This will inevitably tear up my shoulders. Thanks.

I had first met ****, their Office Manager who is very active in our local community and I knew her business had a good reputation locally, so I called her when I had a need for damage repairs inside our rental. ********, their Repairs Manager, was a pleasure to work with right away. When it came to scheduling the work and keeping me updated along the way, she was prompt and effective. ***, the Owner/Operator, also left a favorable impression with his detailed assessment and estimate of the necessary work. He gave insights and talked about choices for the several small projects we had, and it was clear that he was an expert. But ***, the contractor who carried out the actual repairs, really stood out. He took great delight in making sure that each item met or exceeded our expectations. He was highly talented and meticulous. Despite the fact that the task required him to return more than once so that items could dry, he maintained constant contact with us and kept us informed of his progress. My husband agreed that we would for sure want to have him back for future work we might need! Extra Mile Home Inspection Services, LLC, delivered exactly what was promised, stayed within my budget, and I felt that their quality standards were as high as if they were working on my own home. Overall, I could not be happier with the quality of work and customer service that they provided. I heartily endorse this business and will unquestionably use them for any future projects.
