      We had high hopes for Perfect Turf, and were left feeling disappointed. Dont waste your time. The owner, *******************, doesnt care.

      Sorry you feel that way. We do care that is why we contact our customs directly when there is a problem. Unfortunately, your husband left some really rude emails and made assumptions about our company. We have had some of the same customers for over 20 years. The reason being they love ****.

      Recently purchased a new home where Perfect Turf installed the landscaping and irrigation system. The landscaping side of the business did a great job and resolved any issues in a timely manor. The irrigation team extremely poor installation on the irrigation system. The was a brand new build and we found over 5 leaks in the system. The basic plumbing was done poorly and resulted in load knocking when zones changed. When contacted the company sent a person out to fix leak, but never returned to my call to fix additional issues. We would not recommend this company due poor customer service and lack of experience in performing basic irrigation/plumbing work.

      We were a contractor for this install 17 months ago. This system was installed on April 16, 2020 to a new build. When the sod was laid by the builder on April 21st, 2020 the builder contacted us to let us know they broke a couple sprinkler heads. We were there the next day to fix them. On July 13, 2020, we contacted, and we went out again. He had a bad water hammer issue. We replaced the backflow for him at this time. On April 14, 2021, the builder called us and said he had a leak. Again, we went out and fixed the issue. We have NOT heard anything from the customer since. We also contacted upon receiving this review and the builder said he was surprised to hear of this as no problems have been reported to their warranty department. We have done our due diligence with this customer, and it is very unfortunate that he would give us a bad review for issue that our not due to our services.

      Its unfortunate that recollection of some of the events with the irrigation system by the company are inaccurate. Anything originally reported by the builder and taken care of prior to us taking ownership of this home is irrelevant to this review. Issues Reported to Perfect Turf/Builder2 Leaks (one in each valve box, initial leak was followed up on and fixed) - Noticed the valve boxes were again leaking when turning the water on during the spring of ***** Leak on water supply from house (never addressed) - Able to fix by tightening the connectionHigh Water Pressure/Knocking when zones change - Plumber speculated it was due to a bad backflow / Never fully mitigatedTimelineBelow is the timeline I have documented where we have found issues, communicated with our builder, and Perfect Turf:5/16/2020Found leak #1 in one of the valve boxes and reported it to the Builder because we had no response from the Irrigation Manager with Perfect Turf.5/18/2020Reported loud knocking due to water hammer issue to the Builder.7/13/2020Perfect Turf came out to check the water hammer issue. Perfect Turf DID NOT replace the backflow. Team inspected the backflow and did not find any major issues. Team put a zone delay on the system that slightly reduced the knocking, but did not eliminate the issue. 4/15/2021After turning the water back on during the spring noticed additional leaks. Attempted to contact Perfect Turf multiple times to fix leaks and readdress the water hammer issue as we were still within our 1 year home warranty period. With no response/communication from Perfect Turf we informed the Builder we would no longer be working with this company and that they will not be working on our irrigation system going forward.8/7/2021 Investigated the Water Hammer issue and resolved myself. The loud knocking was due to high water pressure and poor plumbing performed by Perfect Turf. The company literally laid a copper pipe directly across a metal HVAC vent. When knocking occurred the sound reverberated through the venting. I had to fix the high water pressure and plumbing myself with the aid of my father (who worked as a plumber in the military)9/18/2021Noticed that one of the valve boxes, weve never had an issue with, cap had popped off. The sprinklers were running at the time and the valve box was filled with tap water. I stopped the system and visibly see that the Adapter from the 1 Two Branch Manifold to the 1 Flex Pipe had cracked. I was able to buy a new Adapter and fix the leak. Showing the Adapter to my father and discussing with him, in our opinion Perfect Turf clearly either used the wrong tool to install that piece or installed previously used equipment.Between 7/13/2020 and 9/18/2021, I have repeatedly found additional issues with the Irrigation System. We have 3 valve boxes and each box has had a leak. Ive spent my own time and additional money fixing issues with a brand new system that should have never had an issue within the first year of installation. All issues that were expected to be fixed were reported to Perfect Turf and the Builder within the 1 Year Home Warranty Period. Perfect Turf may have come out to investigate some of the later issues, but never spoke with the homeowners. The company has shown a repeated failure in communication and knowledge of basic plumbing. We do not recommend Perfect Turf for Irrigation installation or maintenance.
