    I took my boat in for repair on 30 April 2022. I detailed what was wrong and discussed a routine maintenance issue. At that time it was decided that they would trouble shoot the problem and call me before any work would be done. It didn't make sense to do the routine maintenance issue until the motor was fixed. I was told that hopefully this could be accomplished in 2 weeks but could be 3 weeks. I ask if it would be ok to call them for updates and was told OK. This conversation was with *****. Everything seemed OK at this point. My next contact was with ***** on the 11th of May. She told me that the would be looking at it in the next 2 days. I waited until the 17th and met with ***** and Kevin in person. At that time I was told they had looked at it and ran a computer check on it and were uncertain what the problem was. I was also told that they were consulting with Mercury Outboards to figure out the problem. My next contact was on 23 May when I was told they had talked with Mercury Outboard a few times now and were still uncertain what the problem. At this time I was concerned and contacted another resource and did some online searching. I was told that it sounded like a problem with the prop and found online info to back up my suspicion of that. I decided it was time to pick up my boat and work on it myself. I picked it up on the 24th payed them $315 and when I got it home within 30 mins had discovered myself that it simply had fishing line tangled in the prop. I removed the line and it is operating fine. They also have misplaced 2 rubber wheel chocks (value$40) and seem to not care at all. At times I felt I was being treated very rudely and they were not acting professionally.

    I purchased a 230 Premier Sunstation RL Tri-Toon and Haul Rite trailer from ********'s ************************* in February 2023. The buying experience with ***** was excellent! I also purchased the 3M Vantage Tube Protector that ******** installed. After one summer, the 3M product started to fail on the welds of the tubes and was coming off. The management at ******** did not show much concern for my issue and response to address the problem was very disappointing. I sent pictures on a Monday morning to ******** and by Thursday there was no resolution. Thursday morning, I contacted ******* myself and sent them the same pictures. They concluded from my pictures that it was installation error by ********. By Thursday afternoon, 3 hours after contacting Vantage, ********'s concern suddenly surfaced. Vantage stood behind their product! The 5-year warranty did not cover installation error, but ******* said they would take care of the repair costs. Vantage showed outstanding customer service and solved my issue within 3 hours of contacting them. Vantage wanted me to return to ******** for the repairs. I told ******* I would not do further or future business with ********. I would find another boat dealer, pay for it myself. Vantage took it upon themselves, found another boat company for me to make the repairs and Vantage STILL PAID to take care of ********'s poor installation of the 3M Vantage Tube Film Protectant. My first encounter with ********'s customer service was severely lacking. BUYER BEWARE if you need customer service from ******** ********************** in ********, **! *************************

    After viewing ********************** photos and long before anyone contacted the product manufacturer, the customer was informed that he would need to bring the boat in for any necessary repairs and invited to do so. If there was an issue with installation then ******** would be more than willing to make any and all necessary repairs, this was never an issue. The only issue was that the customer was unwilling to bring the boat in to ******** Marine for those repairs. We are always willing to repair boats we sell and welcome any service needs ****************** may need in the future.
