My 10 year old son saved up $160 of his own money to repair his screen within the past month. Within 2 weeks his screen turned black and **** is saying they wont warranty it bc the water indicator says water damage. They are claiming that wasnt there before. The phone is water resistant so I took it in the pool with me all the time! They never mentioned that if that water indicator was on it would void the warranty..They should have pointed out at the time of service that the water indicator was on and that they would not warranty the screen. At that point we could have made a decision to replace the screen or not. There are tons of complaints very similar to mine where he continues to say customers just dont understand this policy. He has never once addressed that I have said that the phone had water damage prior to him replacing the screen and they are trying to say it got water damage inbetween when we brought it there to have the screen replaced and now, which is IMPOSSIBLE. The reality is he sells cheap product and hides behind his water damage policy as a loophole to never have to warranty anything!

I will make it Simple Our Policy or any other policy like ********************** /etcdoes Not cover any damage or water damage after repair, if you don't believe us then please check Apple's website and read their warranty page.We have been in business 8 years so far, and have served ****** customers and saved their money and important pic /videos ,and files, and devices, we work so hard to make everyone happy and that is our real priority, our name and reputation are more important than anything ,it is shame that you believe we are Liars. For your repair we have made a total of $40 profit. You said its okay to put the phone in a swimming pool multiple times, that is ridiculous! No phone so far is completely waterproof. All the companies have said water resistance and after the repair it will not be water resistant anymore. Again You can check Apples website policy, the company that built your phone. Nothing personal between us and i wish to keep it like that , but your continued harassment and slander is not appreciated. We have offered to fix your screen after your water damage for the cost of the screen to try to make you happy, which you did not agree to, if you want this fixed please talk to us, not about us.

      thanks

***'S Ticket NO: ***** On this past Friday noon (8/18/23), I dropped off my disabled child's fully functioning cellphone for a simple battery replacement. Late that afternoon, I returned to pick it up and was charged $75.00. That evening, my child complained that the phone wasnt operating properly. The store was closed for that weekend, so I returned on Monday afternoon. Since the original repair clerk advised that there was a 90-day warrantee on the work, he advised that I keep the receipt and I returned after the weekend, to have the phone fixed. When it was explained what was wrong, a man with a foreign accent came out from a back room and took the phone from my hand and began to argue that there is no warrantee and began to talk about basic electronics and draw diagrams on a notepad??? When his electronic class was interrupted with a comment that the lecture wasnt necessary (we just need it fixed under the warrantee on the receipt), he opened the *** slide and right in front of me, twisted the plate and broke it, with parts falling on the counter. He further stated in a vindictive tone of voice, look this is broken. I can replace the motherboard and slide, but it will cost you $99.00. He also advised that he was the only person in *********, who could fix it? If true, he knows I will have to buy a new phone for hundreds of dollars. **** Cell Phone Repair is untrustworthy and NOT a good place to do business with.

My husband took his cracked screen to get repaired. It cost over $300 dollars and came with a 90 day warranty. Shortly after he realized condensation was getting under the screen and saw that the seal they placed on his phone was not a tight seal. Even on a hot day moisture was getting in his phone, so it wasn't working correctly. He took it into the shop with over 2 months left on his warranty and they tried to charge him $25 to look at his phone. They finally agreed to look at his phone under warranty and told him the phone was not repairable. So after paying over $300, they broke my husband's $1,000 phone and voided their own warranty. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE, WE HAVE TO GO BUY A WHOLE NEW PHONE FOR A SMALL CRACK

I am so sorry about you device, I understand how frustrating it is to find out that your device will no longer function after being dropped in water. Unfortunately, just like any repair shop or big franchise we can not cover water damage. We did all we can to try to help, we waived the water damage treatment fee and unfortunately it was beyond repair.
we do offer a 90 day warranty on parts and labor, but we do not provide insurance on your device. We don’t cover broken screens and water damage. We’d love to help and would hate to lose a customer but we can not afford to replace everyone’s phone when they drop the phone in water.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: I DID NOT DROP MY PHONE IN WATER AT ANY POINT IN TIME. I paid $352.40 for a new screen and backing that they did not properly seal which allowed condensation to destroy my $1,000 phone. You break it, you buy it. So they have now cost me 352.40 for new screen, $1,000 for my phone they broke, and $1,200 for a new phone. Sam's cost me a total of $2,552.40 all for a small crack in my screen, I should have just kept the crack.

      Sincerely,

      ******* *******

iPhone 10 fully functional with a cracked screen was presented for screen replacement. Was told when picking up iPhone that when they removed the screen the iPhone went dead and could not be returned to proper function. Was not charged for repair and when asked about being reimbursed for the cost of the phone was told no. Was told to go online and purchase another phone that nothing can be done and they would not stand behind their damage to the iPhone.
