I cancelled services with them over a month ago and I havent received my money I paid them for the quarter. At this time I want all my money I just paid them back in May.Business response

When a customer cancels service, we tell them refunds take 30 days. Customer quit on 5/15/2024. As you can see customer was refunded back on 6/12/2024 to his credit card ending in 2685.Customer response

I did respond to you. Grace Hauling failed to return my money when I canceled service with them and held my payment hostage. I returned all of their property and still no refund. Not until they decided to after getting the BBB involved and my bank. Grace Hauling didnt honor anything! Very bad customer service!

I ended my agreement with this company 3 weeks ago. The picked up the trash can and I thought it was the end. They sent me a bill 10/07 for $54.78 for three month. You always pay in advance and I would have to have this bill in September for a bill now. They also added a $5 dollar service fee I don't know what I is. This is fraudulent. Once I ended the contract, I should have been released of any obligation.Business response

Customer was billed on September 1, 2023 for the months of September, October, and November. The 9/1/2023 bill was for $61.47. Customer called and cancelled service on 10/30/2023. We picked up the trash for this customer the months of September and October. Customer was issued a credit for the month of November for the service not provided. Remaining balance on the 9/1/2023 bill was $39.78. Customer did not pay the bill. A late fee assessed on 9/30/2023 for $5.00 for non payment. The October 1,2023 invoice was for $44.78. Customer never made a payment. Customer was assessed another late fee on 10/31/2023 of $5.00. Customer was sent another invoice on 11/1/2023 for $49.78. Customer never made a payment. Customer was assessed another late fee on 11/30/2023 of $5.00. Customer was sent another invoice on 12/1/2023 $54.78. Customer does owe us for the service he did receive the months of September and October. Customer was assessed the late fees because he didn't pay.Initial Complaint

Customer stated he has been living at his address for almost a month. Customer said he did not have trash pickup and his trash bins had not been delivered. Customer started with us on 8/1/2022 and filed this complaint on 8/14/22. The had only been with us 14 days. Customer called on 8/5/2022 saying cart was not delivered. He did not mention that his trash had been missed when he called on 8/5/2022. Cart was delivered on 8/15/2022. Customer was given a 2 week credit for the cart and 3 week credit for his trash not being picked up. One of the customer service reps tried to reach out to customer on 9/1/2022 at 9:53am to discuss and customer did not answer. She could not leave a message due to customers voice mail being full.

I moved into pin oak park in November of 2020 trash is included in rent i moved out of pin oak park in February 2022 I received a bill for $45.00 from Grace hauling I called them and they said i had a extra trash can and I owed $45.00 now im only one person and I rented a place where trash was included in rent why would i buy another trash can and I told is Grace hauling this and the lady was very rude and said i did and I need to pay it now it’s on my credit report and id like it to be taken care of immediately and my credit back to where it was kinda funny i only owe 45 dollars after over a year of having a second trash can I never hadBusiness response

Customer called on 10/26/2020. He said he was moving from **** ***** ****** ***** ****** ** ** *** ***** ***** and was taking his cart from his old address to his new address. A separate account was created for this customer for the extra cart rent. After looking into this matter further. Another customer service representative created a work order to have the cart removed on 10/28/2020. There were no notes put in the account as to way she did this. A mistake was made on our end and Mr. ******** was notified.

Grace hauling is a trash company. The last 2 weeks we have had the icy snow weather which has caused our trash not to be picked up. Calls have been made about crediting accounts when pick up has not been done. We were told that no credits will be issued due to weather. We pay for pick up and when weather is an issue the customers are being required to still pay but are not having services done. Our neighborhood has had 2 weeks with no pick up but no credits will be issued. If no pick up we should not be charged when we pay for pick up service but pick up service was not done.Business response

Unfortunately, due to an ice/snow storm we were unable to pick this customers trash up. Snow and ice storms are an act of nature. An instance of uncontrollable natural forces in operation. A winter storm warning and state of emergency were issued. The National Guard was even called in. We make every effort to pick our customers up when road conditions allow. Roads were not plowed by the county. It is not our responsibility to make sure roads are plowed. If an area is not plowed, we unfortunately cannot pick a customer up. The reason a credit is not issued is because we still take all of the trash the customer has collected and have to pay the disposal fees.

Failure to pick up trash on weekly basis. I pay for weekly service, the week of February 4th, our trash was not picked up. They were on snow schedule which meant it could have been delayed a day or two. The whole neighborhood got their trash picked up except for us. When I called the gal said that too bad, we will pick up next week. i asked for a refund for a week, and she said no.Business response

Due to weather conditions in our area this past week, the trash service could not complete their rounds in my area, so they say. I called and asked for a credit on my billing or an additional day of trash pick-up. The person I talked to at their office refused to provide either alternative and indicated that their solution was for me to provide double the amount of trash and they would be sure to pick up all trash the following week. My thought is that I paid for trash service to be provided this past week and it was not provided due to the weather. I understand this, but since I did not get services paid this past week, I should be compensated for an extra day of trash pick-up or a credit on my bill for one day of service not being provided.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:
The business is correct that my trash was to have been picked up the morning of Feb. 2nd, and that's about all. The rest is made up! However, at that time on the morning of the 2nd, there was only about 3 to 4 inches on the ground from the first round of snow. The second round (and larger amount of snow - 5 to 6 inches) did not come until later that night. There was no State of Emergency issued at that time (on the morning of the 2nd) and there was no National Guard assigned to St. Charles County at that time that I know of. ******** ****, had been plowed the morning of the 2nd. How do I know? I took a drive around the area to see how bad the main roads actually were to determine plan of action for our safety and subdivision. I found that all of the main roads had been plowed and were completely passable by car or truck. In addition, our private road in our subdivision had been plowed that morning as well. So there would have been no problems around their normal pick-up time of 11:30 AM to Noon on Feb. 2nd, as the main snowstorm did not hit until later that night as I indicated before. My rates have recently increased along with a fuel surcharge being added to my bill. Therefore, based on the conditions on the morning of Feb. 2nd and the rates they charge, there is no reason they could not have picked up our trash. Therefore, I am only asking for a credit based on services not being provided on the one day of Feb. 2, 2022.
