We had contracted with Tery from Lawn & Landscape Solutions for 2 projects to be done at our home. The first was to remove our current back patio pavers & replace with new pavers. This proposal was signed by myself on May 17th 2023 & deposit in the amount of $3,953.34 was given to Tery on May 19th 2023. The 2nd project was for our front walk way to be torn out & replaced with the same pavers. The proposal was signed on 6/14/2023 & a deposit was given to Tery on June 14th. I told **** the front walkway project was more important to get completed first as we had another contractor working on extending our front *********** project would need to be completed so as to not hold up our other contractor. **** had told me & the other contractor, the front walk way should be started by the end of June, worse case right after the 4th of July. The end of June came & went, then **** told me they would be starting right after July 4th. July 5th came, but no one here to work on the project. I was told by **** that they had an outdoor kitchen that they were backed up with & could not get out to start our project, but he would call me in a few days & let me know when they could. July 25th & still nothing from Tery. I texted **** July 25th, & he texted back stating they were still tied up on that other job, but he was reaching out to another company to see if they could get a crew out to start & he should know something by the end of the week. July 30th, I have not heard from Tery, so I texted him again letting him know I needed to know what was going on as the other contractor was now waiting on his company to be able to go any further with their portion. **** responded with he hadn't heard back from the other company, but will let me know tomorrow.. Same thing Aug 1st, Aug 7th. On Aug 15th, I let Tery know I found someone else who could start the project next week if he could not find someone. So I needed an answer by Aug 17th. On Aug 17th, I texted Tery again, this time was told the other contractor was unable to help them out. I then asked **** if he had purchased any materials yet, he told me NO. So I asked him if he can refund the $7,037.34 back & **** said he would submit it for processing & refunds normally take 30 days. I checked in on Sept 13th, he was going to check on it. Nothing back. I checked in again on Sept 15th, **** said he hadn't heard anything back yet. No response. I texted again on Sept 16th, **** responded with "there is a process it has to go through". I texted again on Oct 2nd, no response from Tery. I texted again Oct 20th, **** sends me a response from whoever processes the refunds I guess, with a long drawn out response about what had occurred & how I would not normally get my deposit back? But they were working on getting it wrapped up and processed through the finance department? This was the last communication I have had with ********* is now Nov 19th and still no refund. I have given ********** company more then enough time (60 days now) to refund our money. We just want the deposit back for the job the company was given & could not even start.

We entered into a contract (attached) with Lawn & Landscape Solutions on 7/27/22 for a patio replacement project with some additional work adding downspouts, siding repair, and sod installation. At that time we understood it might be spring 2023 before the project was completed. We paid $3458.57 (25%) at signing and a further $3458.57 (25%) when the downspout work (which was valued at $750.18, per the contract) was started, but not completed, on 11/23/22 as the underground piping is still exposed (see attached images). No further work has since taken place. Starting 2/19/23, after the winter period, there has only been information from the contractor when I have reached out and we've had inconsistent updates (one job ahead of yours, then two jobs, then a city project prioritized, etc.) and many date commitments missed in the timeline. See attached email thread for details. This went on from mid-February to the end of June. The last email we received from the company was a confirmation on 6/29/23 that the concrete work would start on or around 7/17/23. Since then, starting 7/10/23, emails to *** *************************** email address have been returned as undeliverable/sender unknown. I texted owner ****** ******* on 7/10/23 to enquire and was told he would check on the start date. Since then, emails continue to be returned undelivered, and texts and multiple voicemails (left at both the office number (************) and the owner's cell (636-439-1426) have not been returned). At this point, we have paid $6917.14 to Lawn and Landscape Solutions for this project and there is no evidence that the work will be completed, or that the company is still operating.

Outdoor kitchen and landscape project at 14512 white birch valley ln, chesterfield, mo 63017 They have also not paid for invoices for this project and now a lien is held against our home. Summary letter written and attached: The down payment was made on January 24, 2023. This was followed by 4 additional progress payments totaling $55,617.30 for project progress thru March 15, 2023. The progress payments were made in good faith based on the written commitment from your team that the masonry portion for the project would begin within 2 weeks of final progress payment made. We did not receive any written confirmation until April 10,, 2023 confirming that the work would begin that same week and be the entire project would be completed in 3-4 weeks. This was provided in the email from *** ****** for which you and ****** ******* were in copy. 76% of the total project contract amount was paid with less than 25% of the work completed with the assurance from ***** email that the work was scheduled to begin within 2 weeks. We are now 15 weeks past that date with multiple written promise start dates and no action. We have had no written communication from your company since May 23, 2023 when you stated again that the mason would arrive on May 31st, 2023 with Joshua to start the project. This again did not happen and neither written explanation nor any communication at all was given. On June 12,, 2023 Amy had a text conversation with ***** stating that a new mason company was hired and would start within the next week. We asked for this all to be confirmed by email and none were sent. ***** **** *** ****** were contacted several times over the last 4 weeks by phone and email to discuss the project with no return calls or written communication.

Lawn and Landscape solutions started my backyard project the week before Christmas. They tore out my existing patio and removed part of my fence. They poured two pads for my outdoor kitchen and fireplace. No other work was then done until the first week of April. I immediately called about the uneven color and the mess under the stairs. The concrete contractor applied one more coat of stain, but didn't really solve the problem. I had another contractor come and look at it and sent the letter to the Lawn and Landscape office with what he thought needed to be done.. The letter is attached. Lawn and Landscape agreed it didn't look right and promised to address the problem. I have asked repeatedly for meetings, or for them to discuss the problems. The office manger keeps telling me they will, but nothing has been set up and no one has been here since April 8, 2023. The office manager has requested money, but I have paid $67,000 of the ****** bid and all I have to show for it is a patio with many issues. I have no kitchen, no fireplace, a yard they left a mess. A damaged sprinkler system and a temporary fence. The concrete contractor contacted me for money, because he hasn't been completely paid. The office manager has been stringing me along for two months, and I don't know how to get this resolved if they won't talk to me or show up to complete the project.
