Extensive detail offered me a refund for a product they couldnt produce. I accepted their offer for a refund back in July. I received my initial downpayment in September only after I informed them that if I didnt receive my refund that I would contact the BBB and take legal action. Then I was told that if I didnt receive the remaining ***** soon then they would make me a check. Its been two weeks since that chat and they have ghosted me and will not return my calls or messages. All I want is my money back. It has been over 3 months since the refund process has started.Initial Complaint

Extensive Detailing in *********** ******** was hired to wash, buff oxidation out, and apply a 4-5 year ceramic coating. We paid $1893.75 May 4, 2022 to get onto their schedule. Final payment of $4418.75 was paid June 29, 2022 when they finished ceramic coating the boat. In October 5 months later oxidation was coming through ceramic coating, which should not have been happening and contacted Extensive Detailing but never got any phone call back. We tried several times since last year and this year and no return phone call was made. I stopped in last month to address him on the issue and says he doesnt know if h*** be able to take care of it or when he would be able to make it out. We spent over $6000 to have a 4-5 year ceramic coating wax put on our boat and it didnt even last a year. I believe he should be standing behind this and fixing this problem but has not. I am currently getting quotes from other businesses to address and fix the problem before it gets any worse. We are very unsatisfied and Extensive Detailing is not doing anything to address this problem or make it right. We believe they should be paying for the damage they did to our boat, buy not properly buffing and applying ceramic coating correctly to our boat. I am supplying you with the receipt and pictures of our boat. I also am doing this to make sure nobody else gets taken advantage of their scheme of selling a 4-5 year ceramic coating that doesnt last even a year.Business response

I'm incredibly sorry! I was unaware the BBB was trying to reach me. We have worked with *** since this complaint was made and resolved the issue. We went to his boat, repaired the damage, and re-applied the ceramic coating on his boat. Like all businesses right now, we are extremely short-staffed and weren't able to get Mr. ********** on schedule in the time he requested. However, we never said that we wouldn't take care of the issue. We went to his residence on June 23, 2023 (6 days short of his annual maintenance date) to remove the oxidation and perform his annual maintenance. Mr. ********** stated that he was happy with the work and everything looked great. I can provide any documentation necessary from our end.
