Owner said I was using gym too much. Business advertises I would have 24/7 access to the gym and did not say time would be limited. I request a refund of the $60 monthly pass .Business response

I'm responding to **** ********** complaint which was assigned an ID of ********. He filed this complaint even though he and I e-mailed personally and settled his dispute. He says he was asked to leave because he was using the gym too much, but that's not true. He was asked to leave because he had been in 8 times within 4 hours and was seen (and admitted to) drinking beer in the parking lot at 10 am, before coming in. We then asked him to leave because we don't allow intoxicated persons in our gym.On Monday 2/20/23, we e-mailed with Mr. ******** and told him we were happy to refund him his 1 month pass amount of $60. He then responded and said he wanted 5 months worth of dues, even though he had used the gym and had no complaints in those 4 months he was a member. I'm still not sure why he expected we should owe him for 5 months, when he was only a member for 4 months. We offered to cancel his account and refund him the full month of dues, even though we only owed him for 12 out of 30 days of his 30 day pass. He kept trying to extort me for more money. On that date, we both agreed that we would refund the $60 and he wouldn't pursue any further complaints.At this time, he has already been refunded $60 for his month pass... so I'm not sure why he's filing this complaint.Mr. ******** has previous convictions for ********* ******** *********, ******** ************* ******** ***** *** *******, and ************** ***** **** ***** in ****** County Case No. *************** * ** * ******* * ********. Those convictions were upheld by the Missouri ***** ** ******* in ***** ** ********, *** ****** *** **** **** **** *********** ********
