ake Regional Hospital is very careless about patient care. I was brought in by ambulance with stroke like symptoms. After test ran including blood work and CT and MRI, They ask me to give them a urine sample knowing not able to stand or walk and not offering a bed pan they brought a bedside commode and after trying to use the bathroom and no help with transfer I fell hitting my face and left side of my body on the floor, and later was kept for 24 hrs with no assist and no one listening to my complaints of facial pain and bruising starting on my face on the left side. I was let go home. I am a seizure patient and on Tegretol which was to high that was the whole problem because I had been on it for so many years it just wasn't working anymore. ! That day after getting home I called my primary dr from COMC who AMAZING and she is saw me and set up CT scans that showed 3 FACIAL FRACTURES THAT WERE NOT IN THE TEST ON THE *** I WAS BROUGHT IN THE *** PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND THINK BEFORE USING THIS HOSPITAL! The doctor on call for neurology was ****** who is over sleep study department which has horrible manners and is judgmental by looking at old records of patients from 2014 and diagnosis you on those and not the actual things that you have. I hope no one has to experience the stress and pain and rudeness that this hospital is allowing to go on. I filed a complaint and I hope the problems are delt with. I also have plenty of pictures and also people that witnessed this situation.****** H
